1. Hi Looking for a good working example. Needs put to work straight away so not after a project, but some signs of use are obviously expected. Is anyone due to post anything for sale soon or spotted any on eBay etc? Many thanks
2. Hi all, It has been suggested that one of my grinders gets a new home. Includes the huge hopper, the metal tray, the collar gauge and the small lens hood. I have been single dosing with this grinder, so a few flaps of the dosing paddle turns it on and the switch turns it off. It also has the sweep clean mod and had new burrs at the end of 2015. I have probably only put through about a kg of beans through each month since then. As you can see it got bashed about a bit cosmetically before it got to me, and I have never spent time improving its looks but functionally
3. Hello Per the title I am looking for a second hand Mazzer grinder. I am looking for a Mini Electronic, Super Jolly Electronic or Major Electronic. I like to tinker so if it is worn but ultimately working I am happy to replace parts. I found this listing on Ebay that I'd love to put an offer on but sadly is collection only and that's not possible at this time unfortunately! If the owner of that post happens to see this please reach out! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mazzer-Major-Electronic-On-Demand-barista-Coffee-Grinder-hopper-etc/254542541137?hash=item3b43eaf151:g:w
4. Mazzer Super Jolly Aut for sale. £170 collected (NORTHERN IRELAND) or £200 insured delivery in the UK. Due to an upgrade i'm selling my SJ. I bought this grinder last year and have modded the doser with a funnel and have to say works pretty well and don't notice any clumping. Was considering the fudge funnel mod but didn't get round to it and this worked fine for me. The grinder is working perfectly and is in excellent condition. I purchased this off a fella who had the catering contract for a golf course and decided to start selling espresso etc. Well he bought all the gear and n
5. As per title, am looking for a mazzer super jolly grinder. Happy to refurb myself or get one already refurbed - so anything considered what do you have?
6. Mazzer Super Jolly Timer model New in box (box opened for inspection prior to purchase) £375 - collected from Stanmore Could be sent by courier at own cost
7. Thanks to this forum, I am now substantially poorer, though mentally / physically happier. About a week ago I was asking all sorts of questions but ultimately wanted to upgrade my kit. I went from a Delonghi Icona and Dualit Burr grinder to a Gaggia classic, Mazzer SJ (both second hand) and the Hario skerton. The grinder was the one in need of some TLC which required unscrewing and washing parts, and it now looks incredible. The nut for selecting grind size was broken in transit, as was the hopper which is a downside unfortunately. The difference is night and day, but mostly because the g
8. Any advice appreciated, I found this for £100 it has a spilt cable but is taped up and apparently works ok
9. I have just given this Mazzer Super Jolly a strip down, re-grease of the doser and clean and was just wondering what sort of price this should be advertised for? many thanks.

Super J

As the title states, I am after a mazzer super jolly, I'm in scotland.......was supposed to be buying from someone on Gumtree but let down!! Don't really want to be spending over £200 Mike
11. For sale a Mazzer Super Jolly, timer version in black, purchased new in April 2013. Only home use and no more than 15 kilos of beans ( not oily roasts ). Currently set up for single dosing with the usual sweeper mods and rubber lens hood hopper. All the bits are there and the doser could easily revert to the original. The clear plastic hopper and stainless steel tray have never been used. Original packaging carton and instructions etc. The cheapest price new is c. £480.00 including VAT. I am looking for £330.00 plus delivery costs.
12. Well no one done a good job talking me out of a Legend on a previous post so I treated myself. Last Machine
13. Looking at second hand SJ on ebay. Can someone explain the difference between Auto, Timer or manual. Thanks in advance.
14. https://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/mazzer-luigi-coffee-grinder/1284588915?utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_ios&utm_medium=social&utm_source=ios_social Think it’s a super jolly judging by the blurry pics
15. I'm using a Sage DTP in combination with a Mazzer SJ. I'm pretty happy with the results. I drink almost exclusively (black) Americano. I'm sort of dialled in and getting a good crema with no bitterness or sourness. I use scales and aim for a 1:2 bean weight to espresso weight ratio (usually going over by 1 or 2 g). My question is, after having dialled in to this extent, do you attempt to 'fine tune' the dialling to seek to improve the flavour extraction - or do you relax and enjoy your brew without being too OCD about it ? (I'm experimenting with Rave beans and am currently on Italian Jo
16. For sale I have my Mazzer Super Jolly that I restored in December last year. I have a thread I created that goes into more detail but i will list everything i have done to the grinder below. sanded, applied primer and painted in satin black replaced the knackered power cable for a new one (like for like of course) replaced the burrs for official mazzer burrs (maximum maybe 2-3kg of beans through them since december) stripped down, applied clean sweep mod with heat shrink (still working perfectly well) replaced the doser spring though i never replaced the doser counter at the
17. Just seeing if anyone is interested in swapping my modded Super Jolly for a Mazzer Mini E or any equivalent on Demand grinder. I like the SJ bit takes up quite a bit of space so looking for something comparable but smaller. Ideally it would need to be a local swap as the SJ is a heavy beast. Any questions, feel free to ask.
18. Finally got a full set up going now, Sage duo-temp pro and a second hand superjolly, but i'm having serious trouble dialling in and trying to get a decent cup. I've found a decent setting on the sj getting 18g in basket to 36g in cup in about 27 seconds but the drink tastes very 'woody', however when I try and go coarser, even adjusting the sj by a few mm the DTP takes about a minute to get 10g in the cup with extremely sour taste and get a vastly different result with a massively swollen soupy puck. I've kept tamping technique, distribution technique and workflow pretty much constant thr
19. I'm selling a good condition Mazzer Super Jolly timer, that has been modded for single dosing with clean sweep mod and flaps/switches removed from the doser (anything removed will be supplied also). It's supplied with the regular Super Jolly hopper as shown in the photos, as well as a lens hood rubber micro hopper. As you can see from the photos below its a 2006 model with a few small chips, mainly to the front, but otherwise in great condition with burrs that are in good shape, and it spins very nicely. Available for collection from Swindon, Wikts, or I can post at cost (£8 bas
20. FOR SALE MAZZER SUPER JOLLY TIMER GRINDER (badged as Astoria) In good condition with no rattles or squeaks. Brand new, authentic Mazzer burrs have just been installed. Probably only 2kg of coffee run through them. A couple of marks to the paintwork as you would expect from a machine like this. As well as the original 1.2kg hopper I will also include an unused 320g version (with lid) which considerably reduces the overall height whilst increasing wife approval rating! As well as this, I will also add a lens hood (for puffing) and a jam funnel
21. I'm looking to upgrade my set up from my current 2005 Gaggia Classic with wand upgrade and Gaggia MDF. I'm looking to upgrade the grinder first to a Super Jolly or possibly a Mazzer Mini. I'm looking to upgrade to used stuff due to price constraints. If anyone is looking to offload their Super Jolly or mini please reply. Any good suggestions to upgrade the coffee machine itself from the classic to something better? thanks Pete
22. Selling my Mazzer Super Jolly. The grinder is under 1yr old (Bought New May/Jun 2014) and has only been used in my home, making an average of 2 espresso's a day during that time. The grinder is generally immaculate - (though when photographing I have found two tiny marks about 2mm wide on the body - could not focus on them with my phone - so just for 100% clarity). It is unmodified. Many modifications are available and range from the simple to the far fetched (as many of you will know). This is completely standard. The Mazzer Super Jolly is it's price class leader f
23. I'm about to pick up this grinder as shown but was wondering how new it is from the pictures provided, from my understanding there was a change in the collar on the newer models can anyone shed any light on this ?
24. Want to sell: Mazzer Luigi Super Jolly. A great coffee grinder, with doser. It is in reasonable condition cosmetically, but certainly not immaculate as can be seen by the photos - however this does not detract from the ability to grind great coffee! There's a few blemishes on the outer paintwork and the doser in need of a good polish. I have recently bought a brand new hopper for it, so that is perfect - no cracks etc. The doser working well too, maybe a little sticky. This grinder is perfect for espresso. I am also missing the portafilter fork, because I took it off (and then I misplace
25. For sale is my much loved 2004 Mazzer Super Jolly. Seen below (sorry I don't have more pictures or close-ups but I don't currrently have access to it. I purchased this grinder in 2012 from a man that was looking to start a mobile coffee business and needed to go for something bigger. He told me it had had one owner previous, and not seen much use since he purchased it 6 months previous. I have owned it for a year and a half and bought new genuine factory burrs around a year ago. Since then its had very infrequent use as I no longer live at my parents house where it is currentl
