  1. Looks to be in reasonable nick, although doesn't say much about it. Will need to make enquiries to satisfy yourself before any commitment. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/172796752527?_mwBanner=1
  2. Hi all. I've finally given and and promised to reduce the space my coffee "stuff" takes up. I am willing to split, offers welcome if buyer multiples. I have included insured courier delivery prices for the big items and regular for the others, but will give preference to those able to collect from central Bristol. Here are the details: 2002 Gaggia Classic /w Rancilio Silvia steam wand (£130 collection, £150 delivered) I bought this refurbished from our very own MartinB here less than 18 months ago, so you know it's in decent shape! Never had an issue with it, still in perfect working
  3. As per title, how do I do it please? Many thanks.

  7. @coffeechap This isn't far from you I believe. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Mazzer-Coffee-Grinders/123099310243?hash=item1ca94a68a3:g:utIAAOSwjXNa4FBD Three grinders for £249 buy now, apparently working. Looks like a possible bargain.
  8. For Sale is my Mazzer Super Jolly which has to be one of the best samples of this great grinder anywhere! This grinder was stripped down and refurbished by the forums very own JimboJohn55 who documented it's journey in a detailed thread (link to follow). The Mazzer was recoated in black, had the burrs swapped for new genuine Mazzer burrs which have a lifetime of home use left in them, has an excellent clean sweep mod, upgraded dial for adjusting the burrs, bespoke wooden lids on the doser and lens hood mod, it's fully set up for single dosing and is a bargain for whoever buys it.
  9. Right ! So here we have a Gaggia TS (modified with tiny tiny monkeywrench instead of steamwand knob as mine broke) Mazzer SJ, with Telescopic tamper. However this is also modified as the disc on this is actually a custom made 80.32 manual tamper disc from my purple heart tamper ( swapped the disc from manual to the telescopic, using some ptfe tape and impact glue as there is a size difference in threads) Fits basket 100% (I now have a purpleheart wood handle with no disc currently available if anyone needs?) Everything else can be seen xx save for the modifications done to the grinde
  10. Hi everyone For those interested, (I know many are opting to just go for the Niche), a Mazzer Super Jolly Timer for sale. It's a 2008 one, I bought it 2.5yrs ago from another forum member so it's been mostly used for home consumption. It's seen about 30gr a coffee a day, amounting to about 27kg of coffee since I got it. Given the longevity of the burr set, it's to be replaced every 400kg but you'd have the option to if you wanted as I'm adding an extra set of burrs. It'll also come with a 3d printed small sized hopper and the original hopper. I've just upgraded (this coffee addiction has
  11. Hi all, Long time reader, first time poster. I have just purchased my first espresso machine (Gaggia) moving up from a stove-top pot. My question is, as a complete beginner, would it be better for me to buy a Sage Pro for versatility or a entry level Mazzer? I am unsure if the home barista hobby will take off or not, so I might end up going back to plungers, filters etc. I just thought that the Sage had more options for the different uses. Cheers, Tim
  12. almost final setup, custom made table and 3d printed accessories just need to repaint the wall and hang something on it really enjoy this machine, after switching from filtered water to tap water (really hard water) it produces really lovely coffee
  13. Cheap grinder if you live in Devon https://www.gumtree.com/p/restaurant-catering-equipment/commercial-coffee-grinder-/1359304601 £20 Bargain
  14. Paintwork looks a bit scabby but not too bad... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mazzer-Super-Jolly-Automatic-Coffee-grinder-/232389921391?hash=item361b84ca6f:g:U34AAOSwN2VZU6~X
  15. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I just managed to win what looks like a brand new SJ on eBay for £260. I think what I gots a good deal, though I'm not sure if it's too good to be true? [emoji51] http://ebay.co.uk/itm/272217042813?_mwBanner=1

  19. https://www.gumtree.com/p/restaurant-catering-equipment/commercial-coffee-grinder-ivgc.-cafe-retirement-sale/1151405793 Pretty sure this is an SJ...? But at this price it probably doesn't matter!
  20. 2014 auto model, recently acquired, but surplus now that I have made my mind up on which grinder I want to keep. Also included is the free choice of a laser etched adjustment gauge currently available in gloss black, silver mirror, matt silver, grey, smoke mirror and of course the red (You don't have to keep my terrible red colour scheme!) The grinds tray is a quick creation that serves its purpose, but could be a little bigger. It rests against the grinders feet but does not clip in place. The lid for the lens hood is laser cut and an exact fit so creates a good seal for blowing out
  21. Hi there! I've had my trusty De'Longhi KG79 for nearly 3 years now and have generally been very happy with it. I generally utilize it for V60's or Aeropress based coffees. However, I guess like a lot of people who stumble across this forum and are then quickly transfixed by all the possible upgrade options I am now thinking about upgrading this piece of kit for two reasons: 1) everyone says it's likely to produce the biggest change in coffee-tasting results and 2) a potential move towards an entry level espresso machine such as the Gaggia Classic. Having done a bit of research it see

  23. I bought my Mazzer for £100 as a bit of a punt it arrived today the hopper is shot (I wasn't going to use it anyway) and I thought it needed a bit of a clean, new burrs are on order which were £22 on eBay.
  24. Looking to swap my Mazzer SJ for a either a on Demand mazzer SJ or mini? It's a great grinder I don't use it enough to warrant the doser, so seeing if anyone had something similar to swap that will get better use out of it. I'm in Medway.
  25. Wondering what everyone uses to clean their grinder with? I've got an SJ so I've taken all the burrs apart and swept them clean and brushed as much as I could get around the bearing carrier underneath. I've also taken the doser apart for the sweep clean mods. Is sweeping out good enough? Richard
