1.

I hope someone can offer some help. I have the above Krups machine and am trying to source a blind filter. I have discovered it is the same as for the Moulinex. However, both machines and their spares are discontinued and I cannot find any spares supplier with a blind filter. There are some on the USA Ebay site, but their cost for postage is excessive! I am UK based. This ref shows the dimensions: http://www.eaparts.gr/part.aspx?partid=35564#prettyPhoto/1/ If anyone can help I would be most grateful Tony
2. Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade form my Krups GVX2 and after quite a bit of reading I'm concluding that if the ideal home grinder exists, it's not available until next summer. That said, I want to get something sorted sooner, and at the moment I'm leaning towards finding a secondhand Super Jolly, which would fit on my one bit of kitchen counter with unrestricted headroom. What I'm less sure about is how friendly they are to single shots, although I'd have a go at either improving the doser or replacing it with a funnel per some of the posts on here if that's the main change that is neede
3. Recently purchased a Krups Calvi Espresso machine during the Black Friday promotion (120 pounds), it has some interesting features for a budget machine like auto-purge and 3s low-pressure preinfusion. Although it can make some really decent shots, I found the steam wand to be a bit too underpowered my liking (it's even weaker than my previous 3-year-old Delonghi Eco310 without the Panarello attachment). It struggles to even froth (not to mention heat up) a small volume of milk (120-150ml) before the 75s auto shut off feature kicks in. Unfortunately, the steam wand issue is a deal brea
4. So I bought my first machine yesterday a second hand gaggia classic and after doing some reasearch ordered the Krups GVX242 Expert Pro Combi Grinder...... unfortunately I found this forum afterwards and now I’m worried I have bought something substandard and will be disappointed.... I want to make espressos which I am learning I will need a fine grind for and was wondering if anyone knows the Grindr and if it will be ok or I should just send it back!!! Cheers Matt
5. Hi all, My first post here and I'm just getting into coffee. Have a gaggia classic my 'old man' gave me after he couldn't get a decent cup out of it. I struggled too, until I got a bargain Wega 64mm grinder on Gumtree and discovered freshly roasted beans! Problem is, I just can't go back to drinking c**p when I'm away at the in-laws on holiday. So, to the point of my post... I managed to source another bargain(£30) Wega/Compak grinder and Krups XP2000 (£5) combi-machine to leave there forever and have half decent coffee. What can I do to get the best from this machine? My plan was
6. About to get a sage duo temp pro, and it has come to my attention a decent grinder is the next step in improving the coffee making process, however, I had not budgeted for an additional £250 outlay. Am i better off using preground or my krups grinder until I get a better quality grinder?
7. Slightly off topic, however, I have a smart pro grinder being delivered next week. Currently using this for grinding coffee beans. http://www.krups.co.uk/coffee-grinder-gvx231 thinking I might use it to replace the spice krups spice grinder which is on its way out which is this model http://www.krups.co.uk/coffee-mill-f20342 the difference if that the spice grinder has blades, any reason why the top coffee grinder would not work for whole spices including cinamon sticks?
8. My wife and I love coffee, especially flat whites but we are both students and will leave the UK in 2 years. Around a year ago we bought De'Longhi ec330 and had a terrible experience. We went through 3 of them before giving up. They simply wouldn't last. We just came from visiting friends in Spain and having a coffee after every meal was really nice. All of our friends were using Nespresso pods and the coffee was consistently good and so convenient. My wife and I are looking at the Inissia models with the Aeroccino and I'm a bit confused. KRUPS and MAGIMIX seem to make identical mode
9. ....who not only sold me a Gaggia Classic, but drove some distance from Glasgow to my village - as I dont have a car anymore Nice to meet him - a credit to the spirit of the Forum AND THEN --- surprised me with a KRUPS grinder to use till I save enough to buy my own.!! Thanks again .....:)
10. Hi everybody, I'm really glad I found this forum. I'm a little bit confused... Let me begin by saying that I'm an Italian living in London, we share the same passion for some good coffee My current coffee machine doesn't satisfy me anymore (Krups F880). I use Illy ground coffee (black label) but it seems that the quality of the coffee my little Krups produces has been decreasing over time. In these days it tastes like dirty water...I descaled and took care of this little coffee machine, it's 5 years old and I live in London. Perhaps the hard water has taken its toll?!? I
11. Hi new to this forum, but was hoping someone could point me in the right direction i inherited a Krups Nespresso Concept FNA243 coffee machine from a family member, tidy piece of kit, except for some unknown reason when you place the coffee capsule in the capsule holder and close it, it just fills the water drip tray, nothing comes through the capsule itself, worked great then just stopped checked everything, cannot understand whats wrong

Thank you ever so much R
14. Hi everyone, Newbie here looking for bean to cup advice! I've just popped a post in the machines forum. Nice place you have here!
15. Hi there - I've had my beloved grinder for a few years and for the past few months it's been acting up. - Press the button and it sounds like it's an old engine trying to start - Then it splutters and spits and grinds a bit - Then it stops and you have to press the button again....lots I've taken it apart and cleaned it carefully, not sure what else to do - do you think it's worth trying to get it fixed - does anyone know what's wrong - is it time to buy a new one? Thanks so much and sorry if this has already been covered, loads! R
16. Hi I'm selling my krups GVX231 grinder as I no longer have a use for it. I purchased this for using with an aeropress (which I no longer have) and French press (which I have lost interest in using). I'm asking for £25 delivered which I think is fair. It is in Excellent condition and will come I its original box. more images can be provided if required. Thanks
