  1. Ok, so I have returned my Sage Barista Express after 2 years and four(!!) replacement machines. Horrendous reliability. Im after the following machine : - make decent, easy flat whites and americanos. - “automatic” as in press a button.. whilst I loved the tamping etc of the Sage it was too hard for my other half to enjoy making coffee. Undecided about the milk aspect - are there any machines that can auto deliver a nice flat white milk? - around £300-£500 Im at a bit of a loss to what machine I want. Is there any fully automatic machines that do all the work and give you
  2. Hi guys. I'd like to ask you if you don't have any experience with changing the language of display on any Jura machine. Could you, please, tell me some tips, how to do it, which equipment I'd need and so? Thank you very much!
  3. I just bought one of these machines and where's the cheapest place to pick up a straw for the machine to replace every once in a while as the manual says?
  4. I'm an enthusiastic amateur when it comes to my coffee drinking I'm slowly coming up the ranks from Cadet Nescafe through Private Nespresso and up to my B2C. I have an old B2C Jura C5 and I love the old girl, firstly maybe I should let you know I only drink expresso so no need so a super foamer (if super foamers exist, if not I'm sure there is a gap in the market) or anything else fancy. It's done me well for the last couple off years, it saves space, is quick to use, clean and makes better coffee than the local Superbucks down the road right from my kitchen. Due to the newest additi
  5. Hello folks, I was just about to purchase a Cherub at the end of this week but have had some unexpected outlay I have a Jura C5 and just can't get anything like even a half decent foam. I have the standard frother and the Pro frother but have had no success with either. I'm using them as a steam wand, not as a venturi system where it draws the milk from a container and mixes it with the steam. Am I chasing rainbows? Cheers for any help, no matter how small. Phil

Just had my Jura give up on me after many years service. have now got a Gaggia set up, Baby Twin and MDF grinder, with Lavazza Qualita Rossa beans now getting much better coffee!
  9. We used to have a gaggia beans to cup machine that went faulty 3 times so we gave up on it. However we are now in a position to get a new one but because of what I do for a job I now have access to a ipad/phone/touch app that will control anything via RS232 or IR (Infared) Would be really cool to get a new machine that I can control as a little bit of a show off. (I could then buy it through the company as a development tool!) Any ideas as to what to look for. V.
  10. Situated on the First Floor in the Leighton Buzzard Library is the Leighton Buzzard Culture Cafe, under new management and making steady improvements to the coffee and quality of service. With some exciting initiatives, recent investment in fixtures and fittings and a visionary manager this cafe is set to hit the radar of an increasing number of Leighton Buzzard and Linslade locals. Using a Jura XS90 Bean-to-Cup Machine, Adam and his team serve a realistically priced, above-average cup of coffee that challenged my thinking about bean-to-cup machines. Don't dwell on the detail t
  11. Anyone know where I can get a impressa s9 serviced? I'm based in berks. Alternatively, I suspect a clip has come off a hose, water's pouring out of the unit (again). I would have a go at getting the thing back on myself, but the rear panel has what looks like some proprietary oval shaped screw holding the rear panel on :-( Thanks, Stu
  12. I have a Jura A9 automatic. Yes I know, but it's the perfect balance between ease and coffee which tastes great to me. I've owned it for a month now and it's time to give it a clean and descale. Jura obviously recommend their own (costly) cleaning tablet, descaling tablets and milk cleaner solution. Do I have to use their products? Or is there a cheaper recommended brand which will be just as effective and unlikely to be found voiding any warranties?
