Does anybody else really hate being served espressos in shot glasses? I don't know if it's the glass, but I always find it gives off a taste/odour that just makes the experience unpleasant. Similarly, I really dislike places that insist on serving espressos in massive mugs/cups. Bit of a rant really, nothing much constructive but there you go. Enjoy your weekends people!
Hi, Searching here I can only find threads about small shot glasses, I'm looking for something a bit bigger, 150ml or so, like the glasses you often get flat whites served in. Duralex Picardie seem to fit the bill, apparently good to 130C which I presume is enough: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Duralex-Picardie-without-filling-Glasses/dp/B0017LR21Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1515692709&sr=8-1&keywords=duralex%2Btumblers&th=1 Anyone got any experience? cheers,
Does anyone have the definitive reason or even a vague opinion ---why do so called "speciality" coffee shops serve latte in some sort of glass. Is it a tradition picked up from who knows where or do they think the customer likes to see what they are being served. Any ideas would be welcome Ian
