  1. I need to free up some space so this has to go. Used it for a few months back when I got into specialty coffee. It's in great condition. Will be shipped tracked from Bulgaria. The price is £20 incl. shipping.
  2. Fully working with original box and spare set of burrs. Black GLOSS colour. Great grinder and reluctantly selling as I seem to be using less and less - having a declutter! £200 but fair and reasonable offers considered. I 'd like to think like minded people won't take the mickey! Collection from Rugby (CV21) or Market Harborough (LE16). Happy to meet in localities / next to M1 or M6 if someone is passing. Can arrange delivery via courier for £10. Details of the grinder can be found here but the one I am selling is GLOSS finish not MATT (saves me tying!): http://www.myespresso.co.uk/product/eureka-mignon-mk2-on-demand-grinder-with-timer-gloss-black-free-1kg-beans/
  3. Hello everyone! I have a Sage Smart Grinder (the original version, not the Pro) that I've just replaced with a Super Jolly. The Sage is a decent starter grinder, very capable for Aeropress and the like. It can also grind for espresso but isn't quite fine enough, I don't think. It was bought in late 2013 and has been used sporadically since. I'm asking £50 for the grinder and, depending on where you are, postage should be around £5-10. Comes with cleaning brush, 58mm portafilter guide and bottom tray only.
  4. Left over from a bulk buy recently I have 2 new red flat white cups & saucers for sale. £10 per set, ie a cup & a saucer plus postage which would be £4 for the pair. Not really interested in splitting.
  5. I sold this Gaggia Classic a number of months ago collection only, but was persuaded to ship it which proved to be a bad decision. The courier damaged the unit in transit and the group head was detached from the main body on arrival - these are small welds that hold it in place - I have riveted the head in place and it is now solid. I have run the machine and it brews ok. The one slight issue I noticed was a small leak from the steam valve. When I bought the machine, the main chassis was split under the water reservoir, but this is held by a small bolt and nut and does not affect the operation of the machine. It has a silicone caffelat blue group head seal and a rancillo steam wand (also comes with original) Comes with 1 portafilter, 2 double baskets, 1 single basket and a double pressurised basket with the black device that goes in the portafilter. In addition a full seal set, power lead, plastic tamper and old steam knob (which is a loose fit). It's a 1300W model. So given it's history, I am prepared to let this go for only £60 of which I will donate £10 to the forum. I believe it will continue to be a reliable machine but am selling it on the basis that has had some damage in the past, has tested ok but may have other things that come to light with repeated use. I will not post - at your risk or mine. I'm near Thirsk in North Yorkshire and would be happy for a weekend pick up only. Pictures to follow....
  6. Selling my Gaggia classic as bought a bean to cup instead. I bought this machine a few weeks back from an old couple who said they bought it years ago, used it a few times then it sat in there cupboard unused for years. It comes with standard portafiller and baskets but I have upgraded the steam wand to a rancio Silva one, I will include the original one as well. Also included is a motta tamper that I just bought from amazon for £20 and a little hand grinder that was only £12 online. Will also include a back flush basket and a full bottle of cafiza which has been used once. Looking for £160 plus postage, machine is in new condition.
  7. Miele CM7300 Bean to cup machine Brand new in box with welcome pack Comes with milk jug Automatic and programmable settings see utube videos, very fancy alround machine £1800 RRP selling for £1300 listed elsewhere - won in a competition :coffee:
  8. Hi all, After much deliberating, I have finally decided to pull the plug and sell my Nuova Simonelli Oscar 2 machine. This is due to the machine sitting virtually unused in my kitchen for the last two years. I'm by no means an espresso expert. I tried to learn (thanks to all the members who have advised me) and did okay, but as I don't have the time in my day to spend waiting for the machine to heat, then tweaking my grind just to make two cups, I prefer to drink pour-over. From what I have experienced, this machine is incredibly capable - the steam is insanely powerful and it pulls a great shot. I feel that after two years of enjoying owning the machine, but barely using it, it is time for it to move on to pastures new and really be the work horse it was designed to be. This is one of the first machines off the production line when the model launched in February 2016 and was bought brand new from CafeItalia for £540. It has always been run on either Volvic or Ashbeck bottled water. Due to the low amount of usage and my own inadequacies, I have never descaled the machine. I would say the machine has probably made less than 100 shots in its lifetime. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with one small imperfection on the reservoir lid (see photos - an under-counter light cooked it). These machines really do look amazing on the kitchen counter! I still have all the original accessories and packaging so it will be like an almost brand new machine! Will also come with 18g VST basket in addition to NS standard baskets. Collection from central Hull, or less preferably, postage could be arranged at the buyer's expense. I don't currently have any transport to meet half-way. I'm looking for £450 as this seems to be the going rate for these machines. Currently selling brand new at Bella Barista for £649! Any questions, please feel free to ask. PLEASE NOTE: After being advertised for sale here for over a week, I have now listed the item on eBay. I am still open to anybody from the forum purchasing from me directly and provided the listing doesn't attract any bids, will be happy to end the eBay listing should anybody here be interested in the item.
  9. Found the spare cylinder from a Super Jolly in the back of a cupboard. It's used and has some scratches but nothing too major. I got it for £30 as my SJ got damaged in transit. I've used the plastic lens from that doser and mended the damaged one. So this one doesn't have the lense. Photos attached. Does anyone want it? Not sure what's a fair price so if you want it please make me an offer. Thanks!
  10. Gene Cafe CBR-1200 roaster - 1KG capacity. Fantastic roaster for a beginner or a veteran. Clear drum allows you to see right into the drum to determine roast by looks. Comes with exhaust pipes and chaff collector. Quick - 4 Minute cooling process. In great condition, bought 2 years ago, deep cleaned recently and in perfect working order. Pictures here:https://postimg.org/gallery/3g7q82yva/ Can no longer buy new in the UK. Spares are available in the UK from Bella Barista. The power control mod has not been done but can be fitted for relatively cheap (£40). Looking for about £2500 but willing to listen to any offers. Please let me know if you're interested!
  11. Almost new, under 30 hours total use. Fully boxed and documented. Purchased end of October 2019 so they have almost all of the 5 year Adam warranty remaining, for which I have and will provide the documentation for. Change of circumstances mean I have to scale down my setup hence the sale (Im in a smaller room nothing dramatic). Any inspection welcome. Collection only due to size, weight and value. Can include some similarly new IsoAcoustics ISO 155 isolation stands for an additional £80 if required. £770
  12. Single group, tank fed, HX prosumer espresso machine. Very good condition. Made in 2006, comes with double and single spouted portafilters, double and single baskets. This was quite expensive when new, it is very much like the Pasqini Livia 90 which is very well reviewed in prosumer circles, check out the online reviews. This is the third of these machines that I have owned, you get a lot of machine for the money. This one left the factory as a ground coffee machine as opposed to one that uses the expensive pods. I have replaced a few faulty components in the Gicar box, replaced the anti-vac valve, adjusted OPV and it is now working well without any issues. I keep it at a relative's house in Sunderland for use when I am staying there but it is not now needed. The machine is currently in Sunderland where it can be seen working, it can be seen later in Sheffield and then in my house near Oswestry, or I can possibly deliver to somewhere on-route between. I am not keen to post as heavy machines like this don't courier well. I am asking for £300 for it, I can throw in a Gaggia MM grinder with the machine, it's barely capable of grinding espresso grade coffee, but it will get you started until you can find something better.
  13. I offer for your consideration today a Mazzer SJ. Selling as I upgraded to a Ceado 37S a few months ago. While it's been fun having 2 grinders around, this has to stop before I get too used to it! For background, I bought this off eBay 2.5 years ago. It was in a messy condition externally, and was missing a few parts. However, the internals were sound and I was going to use it for single dosing anyway, so the lack of a hopper and doser lid was a non-issue. There are a few points I want to get out of the way first: No hopper, will include the camera lens hood that I've been using for single dosing though No doser lid No grind adjustment lever (haven't found this an issue since the adjustment threads are in excellent condition) Paint chipping in a couple of places (all of these are reflected in the photos) The power cord has some paint stains on it, haven't bothered to try if these would come off with the right solution. I have intentionally snapped off the security pin on the star screw holding the bottom plate, so that it doesn't require a special security bit to open. Having a hard time locating the original bottom screws for the doser, so selling under the assumption that they are not included. Given the above, this particular SJ is naturally better suited for someone looking to single dose, as in this case only the grind adjustment lever is an inconvenience. Now for the positive parts - I replaced the burrs when I bought the machine, so they are in excellent condition and have had about 30kg through them. This is likely an overestimation but I want to be on the safe side. I've routinely switched the burrs around when cleaning so the wear should be very even. The bearings seem to be in good condition, judging by the lack of odd sounds or vibrations when grinding. Overall I've had no issues with the grinder whatsoever, and in my judgement have taken good care of it. Paired excellently with my Europiccola until I got upgraditis. I have done my normal cleaning routine just today, also regreased the dosing mechanism though I haven't used it. The only part I'm unable to clean is under the vanes as I don't have the right tools to disassemble them. The bit under the lower burr carrier was last cleaned when I bought the grinder, as it is a slightly risky maneuver and quite frankly I didn't find that much under there back then compared to the rest of the burr chamber. Price £160 with collection from central London. Offers accepted. Pricing to sell quickly before I go on holiday June 20th. If the grinder doesn't sell by then (meaning sold and collected), I will have to hold off on the sale until I return from holiday in August. Cash on collection, PayPal, or bank transfer fine. If desired, you are welcome to test the grinder when collecting. Alternatively happy to meet you halfway within reason.
  14. I am selling my 5 year old Gaggia Classic, below, having recently up-caffeinated to a Rancilio Sylvia. I've used the Classic every day and had no serious problems. It has been regularly cleaned (but not back-flushed, which is probably a cardinal sin). Used with soft water only. I haven't fiddled with any of the settings and all the working parts are original, apart from the gasket and steam wand. (New Panarella wand fitted.) At one point it started leaking from the boiler, which I rectified by replacing the sealing washer - no problems since. Pump is a bit noisy. Steam/temperature lamp hasn't worked for a year but I get lots of steam, so it's probably just the lamp. I'd much rather sell it to someone who is happy to get into the innards if and when it needs fixing. Spare gasket included. Comes with original filter holder and naked holder. £100 including UK postage and it's yours. The proceeds are going to YMCA Roomsponsor (shameless charity plug here) so your coffee will taste twice as ethical. Any questions, feel free to ask!
  15. I'm putting my Piccino up for sale as upgradeitis is getting a hold on me. The good: Amazingly small for a DB machine. My kitchen is tiny and this doesn't take up much space. Fed Ashbeck/Volvic its entire life (I bought it a few years ago on this forum for £420) Totally reliable, produces very decent shots and froths milk quickly - I upgraded from a Gaggia Classic with PID and this machine is much more consistent. Grouphead regularly stripped down and cleaned. VST basket included. The bad: It's not in showroom condition - the chrome on the top is scratched, as is the chrome drip tray inset, and the paint on the right hand side panel is scratched (see picture) The down side of the Piccino's tiny footprint is that the steam boiler is effectively a closed circuit so can't be easily descaled without returning the machine to the factory. However it's never been used with tap water while I have owned it and I understand the same was true of its previous owner. Looking for around £300. I'm based in SE London (BR3) and would prefer collection or could deliver within a reasonable distance. Pics:
  16. For sale as a pair. Very good if not excellent condition. 35cl - Red 50cl - Stainless Steel Both come in original Motta boxes and are stamped motta on the base. £35 inc P&P *images to follow shortly if required.
  17. In an attempt to reduce my carbon (plastic) footprint I tried the BWT water filter to reduce plastic bottle waste but brews tasted very strange using this water. This is due to my tap water containing all sorts of undesirables including chloramine and no amount of filtering can improve it. For this reason I'm selling a basically new, barely used BWT with x3 gourmet filters (one slightly used) for £20 delivered. I paid £30 from Amazon. Can post pictures if required (but they would be pretty dull). Item on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00E7G2P42/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Cheers
  18. Not particularly being one for self control I went a bit doolally when ordering and have more than I need (and definitely more than I should [emoji4] So I thought I'd pop a few on here. They're from the same chap that makes the Cat and Cloud ones I also have. 2 x Flat white cups (natural finish) - £25 + PP for the pair. 1 Have a nice day mug - £20 + PP 1 Espresso 'Tilter' cup - £11.50 + PP As far as I can make out from RM cheapest postage option is £2.90 or £3.90 for recorded. Collection from Sheffield is also available. Granted they're not cheap, but they're beautiful (subjective I know) and well made (fact [emoji4]
  19. This is an advert for my recently replaced espresso machine. I bought it new from BellaBarista on Jan 4 2013 (I still have the receipt). It suffered a leaking relief valve in 2015, which was replaced and throughout its life has been regularly de-scaled and cleaned. Otherwise I have had no problems with it. It has delivered around 3000 espressos in its time with me and provided an excellent follow-on from a Gaggia that I had used before treating myself to a retirement present. A slippery slope. Initially I used (Brita) filtered water and then moved over to Volvic bottled water. The item has had a thorough service and inspection at BB, there is a receipt for all the work carried out, which will transfer to the new owner. The pump was replaced, alongwith the group head gasket and the shower screen plus a full service of the group head itself. It is now as-new, minor wear from use excepted. It comes with The (somewhat amusing) Expobar instruction manual, plus the excellent BB-written detailed instructions on use and maintenance. A single portafilter with double and single baskets and a blind filter for backflushing A tamper Cleaning brush I will accept offers based on £600, which will include P&P (UK ONLY, I am afraid) from BB in Wellingborough. The purchaser could collect from BB if preferred. BB cannot demonstrate the machine though. Here are the pictures (apologies for the odd orientation, it was hard to double guess what the uploader was going to do)
  20. Evening, I've recently purchased some more slightly larger notNeutral cups and have two spare as a result. One is brand new the other is as good as new. 1 x 150ml 1 x 180ml Sold as a pair and include saucers. Price includes delivery. £22.50 Pics to follow in the morning.
  21. Hi all We're selling our near new / perfect condition Rocket machine (2 group) plus grinders (and add-ons such as jugs, thermometers etc). looking for £4,500 for a quick sale This machine was hand-made for us in Milan and is as good as new (less than a year old). We’re only selling it because we’re selling our cafe and the new owners have the exact same machine as us (and like us, are coffee geeks) – we feel that this speaks volumes about the quality of the Rocket. If you buy before 15th September then you are totally welcome to see it in action - we're based in Castle Cary, Somerset (if you don’t live nearby we can Skype you in?) This is a high end commercial grade coffee machine from a manufacturer with an exemplary reputation. It’s is a 2-group machine so absolutely perfect for smaller cafes looking to create artisan coffees (our cafe has around 30 covers). We really cannot stress highly enough that this machine is one of the very best on the market – and as you’ll see if you search around, Rockets very rarely come onto the market. The quality of our coffees has been second to none. Our roaster (Bean Shot) recently won Roaster of the Year – and it was on their recommendation that we invested in a Rocket. We’ve never had any problems with the machine, no repairs, and it’s never been used for training. It’s pretty much as new. We’re also selling our two grinders (a regular one and smaller one for decaf) – also as new / no issues, no repairs. And all the extras (jugs, thermometers etc) – so this is effectively your entire coffee start-up! Obviously this is all pretty heavy – so collection would be ideal. We’re happy to do a mini master class on collection. This machine runs beautifully and better still is simple and easy to use. Please ask any questions via this thread
  22. I am selling this Classic. It is a 1997 model, so with higher wattage (1425) and larger solenoid. It is in very good condition. I have descaled it and set the opv to 10 bar, can be reset if required, also has a new grouphead gasket fitted. Slight scratches on cup warmer but otherwise very shiny. Comes with portafilter, single and double basket and will also include a 58mm tamper. I am looking for £150 posted or £140 collected which I would prefer, pick up in Glasgow or could deliver/meet within reason.

    Arrarex Caravel

Here for sale is my trusty Caravel, complete with portafilter and in full working order. I'm only allowed one machine in the kitchen, and filter rules the roost at the moment. It had a new element a couple of years ago and has had light use since then. A big advantage of these machines is that they're easy to disassemble to rinse all the parts that the water and coffee come into contact with. The quality of the espresso they can produce is well documented, further photos available on request - £180 collected from London.
  24. Good Morning All, Over the past few weeks I have been speaking to various people on this forum and decided its time to upgrade. After debating wether to go with the Rocket (more hand on) or the Sage Oracle (Super Automatic) I have decided to go with the Sage Oracle. So.... I now have for sale my beloved Sage Barista Express. I would much rather sell it on here as apposed to eBay as I know you all appreciate good coffee machines and that we all look after our kit much more than the average Joe! Everything that came with my Express is going including the additional Knock Box I bought from Steamer Trading. I have flushed this machine every 2 weeks with tablets, De scaled once a month and changed the charcoal filter every 2 months. This machine was and still is my pride and joy! I was a home barista beginner and this machine helped me get onto the ladder! Its a great hands on machine and very reliable. I purchased it new on 09/02/16 and comes with a two year repair or replace warranty. I need to check but I believe this is transferable with the receipt which I can provide. So what's included... 2 x Fresh Grind Filter Baskets 2 x Pre Ground Filter Baskets 1 x Portafilter 1x Grid Razor 1 x Cleaning Brush 1 x Bag of Cleaning Tablets 1 x Steam Wand Tip Cleaner 1 x Allen Key for removing parts 1 x Sage Knock Box 1 x Sage Barista Express w/Grinder, Hopper etc etc. I am looking to get around £350 for it. Its un boxed but I am in the transport industry so can arrange delivery via DPD but would rather you come and collect! Any question just ask, I'd be happy to help! I have lots more photos too! Many Thanks Jacob
  25. I have a spare red PUSH top section for sale. No longer owning a PUSH means its not much use to me now. I purchased it directly from Clockwork Espresso. £35 inc P&P
