  1. I'm putting my Piccino up for sale as upgradeitis is getting a hold on me. The good: Amazingly small for a DB machine. My kitchen is tiny and this doesn't take up much space. Fed Ashbeck/Volvic its entire life (I bought it a few years ago on this forum for £420) Totally reliable, produces very decent shots and froths milk quickly - I upgraded from a Gaggia Classic with PID and this machine is much more consistent. Grouphead regularly stripped down and cleaned. VST basket included. The bad: It's not in showroom condition - the chrome on the top is scratched, as is the chrome drip tray inset, and the paint on the right hand side panel is scratched (see picture) The down side of the Piccino's tiny footprint is that the steam boiler is effectively a closed circuit so can't be easily descaled without returning the machine to the factory. However it's never been used with tap water while I have owned it and I understand the same was true of its previous owner. Looking for around £300. I'm based in SE London (BR3) and would prefer collection or could deliver within a reasonable distance. Pics:
  2. Hello everyone! I have a Sage Smart Grinder (the original version, not the Pro) that I've just replaced with a Super Jolly. The Sage is a decent starter grinder, very capable for Aeropress and the like. It can also grind for espresso but isn't quite fine enough, I don't think. It was bought in late 2013 and has been used sporadically since. I'm asking £50 for the grinder and, depending on where you are, postage should be around £5-10. Comes with cleaning brush, 58mm portafilter guide and bottom tray only.
  3. Single group, tank fed, HX prosumer espresso machine. Very good condition. Made in 2006, comes with double and single spouted portafilters, double and single baskets. This was quite expensive when new, it is very much like the Pasqini Livia 90 which is very well reviewed in prosumer circles, check out the online reviews. This is the third of these machines that I have owned, you get a lot of machine for the money. This one left the factory as a ground coffee machine as opposed to one that uses the expensive pods. I have replaced a few faulty components in the Gicar box, replaced the anti-vac valve, adjusted OPV and it is now working well without any issues. I keep it at a relative's house in Sunderland for use when I am staying there but it is not now needed. The machine is currently in Sunderland where it can be seen working, it can be seen later in Sheffield and then in my house near Oswestry, or I can possibly deliver to somewhere on-route between. I am not keen to post as heavy machines like this don't courier well. I am asking for £300 for it, I can throw in a Gaggia MM grinder with the machine, it's barely capable of grinding espresso grade coffee, but it will get you started until you can find something better.
  4. I am selling my 5 year old Gaggia Classic, below, having recently up-caffeinated to a Rancilio Sylvia. I've used the Classic every day and had no serious problems. It has been regularly cleaned (but not back-flushed, which is probably a cardinal sin). Used with soft water only. I haven't fiddled with any of the settings and all the working parts are original, apart from the gasket and steam wand. (New Panarella wand fitted.) At one point it started leaking from the boiler, which I rectified by replacing the sealing washer - no problems since. Pump is a bit noisy. Steam/temperature lamp hasn't worked for a year but I get lots of steam, so it's probably just the lamp. I'd much rather sell it to someone who is happy to get into the innards if and when it needs fixing. Spare gasket included. Comes with original filter holder and naked holder. £100 including UK postage and it's yours. The proceeds are going to YMCA Roomsponsor (shameless charity plug here) so your coffee will taste twice as ethical. Any questions, feel free to ask!
  5. Left over from a bulk buy recently I have 2 new red flat white cups & saucers for sale. £10 per set, ie a cup & a saucer plus postage which would be £4 for the pair. Not really interested in splitting.
  6. I need to free up some space so this has to go. Used it for a few months back when I got into specialty coffee. It's in great condition. Will be shipped tracked from Bulgaria. The price is £20 incl. shipping.
  7. Fully working with original box and spare set of burrs. Black GLOSS colour. Great grinder and reluctantly selling as I seem to be using less and less - having a declutter! £200 but fair and reasonable offers considered. I 'd like to think like minded people won't take the mickey! Collection from Rugby (CV21) or Market Harborough (LE16). Happy to meet in localities / next to M1 or M6 if someone is passing. Can arrange delivery via courier for £10. Details of the grinder can be found here but the one I am selling is GLOSS finish not MATT (saves me tying!): http://www.myespresso.co.uk/product/eureka-mignon-mk2-on-demand-grinder-with-timer-gloss-black-free-1kg-beans/
  8. I sold this Gaggia Classic a number of months ago collection only, but was persuaded to ship it which proved to be a bad decision. The courier damaged the unit in transit and the group head was detached from the main body on arrival - these are small welds that hold it in place - I have riveted the head in place and it is now solid. I have run the machine and it brews ok. The one slight issue I noticed was a small leak from the steam valve. When I bought the machine, the main chassis was split under the water reservoir, but this is held by a small bolt and nut and does not affect the operation of the machine. It has a silicone caffelat blue group head seal and a rancillo steam wand (also comes with original) Comes with 1 portafilter, 2 double baskets, 1 single basket and a double pressurised basket with the black device that goes in the portafilter. In addition a full seal set, power lead, plastic tamper and old steam knob (which is a loose fit). It's a 1300W model. So given it's history, I am prepared to let this go for only £60 of which I will donate £10 to the forum. I believe it will continue to be a reliable machine but am selling it on the basis that has had some damage in the past, has tested ok but may have other things that come to light with repeated use. I will not post - at your risk or mine. I'm near Thirsk in North Yorkshire and would be happy for a weekend pick up only. Pictures to follow....
  9. As title says, MCD4 for sale. I've used this for brews for the past 6 months. This was purchased from a chap in August 2015, who had only put a few kilos through it. He bought the grinder together with a Gene Cafe 1200 in April 2015 from Bella Barista. I have the original receipt. I'm not brewing as much so it is time for the grinder to find in new home. I've probably put 2-3 kilos through it since I've had it. In as new condition. It will come with original massive hopper. I can include the 80mm Glass hopper if you want it (hopper weight not included). How does £350 collected from Leighton Buzzard sound?
  10. For sale my very loved Gaggia Classic 2009 which now needs to make way for a recent Sage Dual Boiler purchase. The machine has provided me with several months of great times and I can’t fault the quality of coffee it produces. I’ve completed the majority of the suggested upgrades/mods (apart from adding a PID) and therefore will be a great machine to get cracking on with straight away. I’ve tried to summarised the key points below but any other questions just let me know. Collection/meet from Christchurch, Dorset or around M27/M3 preferred but will safely package up ready for collection. Looking for £180 due to the bits included and only selling on here for now. Usage · Approximately 5-7 uses per week, mostly Cappuccinos · Predominately Brita filtered watered used · Backflushed weekly with Cafiza · Daily clean of portafilter/basket · Descaled quarterly with Gaggia Decalcifier Fluid · Thorough clean of basket, dispersion plate quarterly · New group gasket fitted approximately 6 months ago · No leaking/dripping from head or wand Cons · Minor mark/scratches as per photos in line with age · Some of the marking on the switches has come off (as per photos) Upgrades · IMS Gaggia GA 200 IM 54.7mm Integrated Shower Screen · OPV Mod set to 10 (9) Bar · Brass Gaggia Dispersion Plate · La Marzocco 17g Precision Double Basket · Rancilio Silvia V2 Steam Wand Conversion Also Included: · 1x Original Gaggia Single Wall Portafilter · 2x Original Gaggia Singe Wall Double Baskets · 1x Original Gaggia Single Basket · 1x Blind Basket (for backflushing) · 1x Original Gaggia Dispersion Plate · 1x Original Gaggia Shower Screen · 1x 566g Urnex Cafiza Cleaning Powder (approximately half used) · 1x Original Plastic Tamper · 1x Original Pannarello Wand · 1x Pressure gauge with socket for future OPV adjustments · 2x Tape rolls for secure fitting around OPV pressure gauge joint · 1x 0.1g Mini Precision LCD Scales · 1x Andrew James 600ml Stainless Steel Milk Jig Lots more photos here - http://imgur.com/a/opGFt Thanks for loooking!

  12. Hi All, I purchased this in June 2015 from Bella Barista, it is the plumbed/tanked version but I have only used the reservoir with bottled water. I used it quite a lot to start, but then I moved house at the end of last year and have never really got back into it and am drinking brewed pretty much exclusively now. Will have a year of warranty from Bella Barista assuming that it transfers. Always back flushed with water & puly caf regularly. I also have a Eureka Mignon MKI for sale, a Rocket naked portafilter with 15g & 18g VST baskets + stock basket. Also a Made by Knock 58mm tamper, knock box & mat. Plus some other bits and bobs that'll get included with the Expobar. If you're quick, I've just opend a kg of Rave's signature blend that I'll throw in! To start with, I'll offer this as the Expobar +/- whatever the buyer wants from the rest and if there is anything remaining, I'll sell the rest afterwards. Price is £1050 for everything, collected from High Wycombe HP15. This thing is a beast, so would rather not post! Will drive to meet up, but face-to-face preferred. Obviously make an offer if you only want the Expobar +/- bits. For clarity, the following a priocs for machine + other bits: Machine + Everything = £1050 Machine Alone = £850 Machine + Grinder = 1000 Machine + naked portafilter + VST baskets = £900 Cheers, Mike

    Innova I-2

Hi guys, Looking to clear out some of my old gear. First to go is my Innova I-2. I purchased it off a fellow forum user a few years ago now and is still a very decent grinder. Some of the lettering is missing from the name but still works fine and would make a fantastic first grinder for someone Looking for £80. Can be collected from Nottingham or postage can be arranged at buyer's expense.
  15. SOLD !! I hereby offer my MK K30 Vario. The grinder is equipped with the new model grinding chamber and a new voltage regulator, new discs with no more than 30 kilos behind them
  16. A 2011 Mazzer Major Electronic in an excellent, well cared for condition. There a two light scratches to the paintwork which you can see in the photos, but otherwise it looks like new. The burrs are very sharp, and the grind quality is excellent. The shot counter says 2800. Not a lot more to be said really. It's not for me I've decided, but I do now see the attraction of filling up the hopper with beans and just pushing a button whenever you want a coffee. £450 collected from central Cambridge please.
  17. Bought this from forum member Wuyang a couple of weeks ago, here http://coffeeforums.co.uk/showthread.php?27404-Sold-Lido-3-and-Behmor-Brazen-%A3200-00 Please refer to the add for photos and description. I have not even opened it up as I bought it to bridge a gap as my sons Mythos was faulty, but, we fixed it after I had bought this and before it turned up! It stands me £100 plus p & p. You can make offers if you like but I will not accept them, unless they are for more!
  18. Selling my Graef CM81. I purchased this grinder October 2014, making an average of 2 espresso's per week during that time. The grinder is generally in a good condition - when photographing I found a couple of tiny marks about 5mm wide on the body. It is unmodified. Comes complete with Hopper, Coffee container, removable rubber grinds catch plate, small and large group handle bracket and Instruction booklet. Unfortunately I do not have the original box. Only selling as I am looking to upgrade. Asking price is £75 plus postage. Based in Bromley - would prefer collection. Payment by PayPal or cash on collection. The Item is sold as seen, though it 100% fully working. Any questions please do ask. Thanks
  19. Pics to follow. Mignon is soldEureka Mignon was bought from Bella Barista at the end 05/2014/ beginning 06/2014 and used until the beginning of September this year. It has had less than 20kg of beans through it in total. No chips, scratches dings etc £200 Folder for images: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3_FPdg-4pemYkIzWnF4Z2wwOHc&usp=sharing La Pavoni Professional is much loved and that is why I have been reluctant to sell it after getting my Brewtus in May. I changed the brew gaskets and pulled a couple of shots on it before emptying the boiler and putting it into retirement. Before shipping I'll change the gaskets again if necessary, give it a clean and pull a couple of shots for the last time to check everything is fine. The boiler and group are in incredible condition. Internally the group has its chrome in tactInternally the group has its chrome mostly in tact with very little evidence of staining/copper deposits/or wear considering its age, and there are no scratches or gouges that can affect its ability to pull a good shot. No scratches to the boilerA couple of small scratches to the boiler and only the very slightest sign of pitting in a small spot half way up between the base and group. Unfortunately there is some light rust to the base beneath the drip tray but it's completely concealed with the tray in place. The Pavoni comes with the portafilter made bottomless by me and a single hole steam tip. Also has the original three hole steam tip and a double, single and elektra filter basket which allows a larger dose. Motta tamper is included along with Motta group brush, thermometer and small 30cl (I believe but will check) milk jug. £350 £320 Price reduction due to remembering the power switch could do with being replaced and for an extra £4 I'll order the part and replace it myself (it's a simple push out and push in job). The power button is functional, but as the pictures show it exposes cables when in the off position. The chrome in the group appears to have water stains or copper deposits, or it could be uneven wear but I don't know why that would happen. There's also a small scratch towards the bottom of the group which I must have done when changing the gaskets last time, but it doesn't affect the shot. The rust on the underside of the base is only very slight and I think it would be easy to remove with a little elbow grease. I've added pictures of the internals of the group and the group slot which shows minimal signs of wear. The gaskets are still good and I've lubricated the rollers and slot generously. I've attempted to picture all of the flaws I could see. As I've shown in this post I've discovered a couple of things I wasn't aware of before and I've tried to correct myself and represent everything as accurately as possible. I changed the heating element gasket when I got the machine to check the heating element for cracks or damage, but I'm reluctant to take it out again for the purposes of taking a picture as it would be a waste of a gasket and a lot of time to replace it and check for leaks. Folder for images: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3_FPdg-4pemOEZwRWRMWlVjbXM&usp=sharing Also available is a chrome LP sub base with knock out draw £30, which I'd prefer to ship with the machine.

    SOLD: Compak E10

Mod Note: See new, separate thread for L1 sale: http://coffeeforums.co.uk/showthread.php?31323-For-Sale-Londinium-L1-%A31400-no-offers-please-plus-transport Original Ad Text: Londinium 1 and Compak E10 combo both in unused pristine unmarked condition Ages L1 Nov 2014 and E10 July 2015 Tank version L1 and only been used on Volvic water Beautiful pieces of kit, as we all know Photos don't do them justice. I've hardly used them both. The E10 bought from Bella Barista has had a couple of bags of beans through to season that's about it. It also comes with a bigger hopper than the smaller one on the photo. Reason for sale, I like nice things, saw them and bought them, but I am just not using them and I am not into coffee as much as I thought I was, they are gorgeous in the kitchen and everyone comments on them, great coffee but I thought someone else might as well feel the benefit from them rather than me. I don't need to sell and I am quite happy to keep them so I won't be giving them away, so if they don't sell at the price I want for them I will keep them. Happy to sell separately if needed. Price Londinium 1 £1500 ovbno Compak E10 £950 ovbno Sold Both saving a few quid on new

  22. SOLD: Mazzer Super Jolly Timer - modified for single dosing I've decided that for now I prefer hand grinding so for sale is my Mazzer Super Jolly. Details: - Doser removed and replaced with home made funnel - Lens hood mod - Burrs replaced in June 2015 with maybe 8kg of coffee through them since.Plenty of life left and barely broke in - Original hopper included with sale - Original doser included - Grinds tray not available, but available to buy relatively cheaply if it matters to you. - Grinder is in good condition, motor is nice and quiet, burrs spin true, all cleaned out and ready to go. I've loved using the grinder and I seem to be able to get retention down to really low amounts using RDT, lens hood and a paint brush to clear grinds. The grinder produces good grinds which in combination with my technique, gives consistent shot times. Asking price = £240 + P&P at your risk (although I will pack it up good) or Swap for OE Pharos or Swap for a nice vintage lever machine (apart from a caravel, which I already have and love) Pics:

    Sold: Iberital MC2

I've decided to sell my MC2. I put new burrs in this when I bought it, about 4 years ago, and they're still in good condition - I only used it for espresso for a few months and since then it's just been used on the weekend for brewed. The grinder is in a good, clean, condition. I disabled the portafilter switch and timer, as they're a waste of time in my opinion (the timer is fiddly to adjust and not accurate). It has my rapid adjust mod, as pictured. If you've researched these you'll know they take a lot of time to wind back and forth between grind settings - with this one you just whip the lid off, unscrew the extended mounting bolt by hand and swing the worm drive out of the way, allowing you to make large changes. You read all sorts of stories about the grind consistency of these, but this one, with the obligatory teflon tape on the threads, works well. £60 posted please.
  24. FOR SALE : Gaggia Baby (Colour: Ivory) with Rancilio Steam Wand Upgrade and Naked PF £90 + Postage The machine is in good condition and has benefitted from a new brew group seal not too long ago. I also have a spare brew group seal which I will include in the price. Naked portafilter is from Happy Donkey and is provided in addition to the original Gaggia PF. I want to sell items together (£90). Please do not make offers for individual parts as this will be declined. I will put pictures up in a while once I have a chance to take some. Andy
