  1. Hi there, I am looking for an espresso grinder for my new coffe shop. Our capacity is around 80 double espresso/day. Honestly I don't have a big budget so I am looking for a decent one. I live in Turkey and I dont have wide options. Actually my options are below. If you can help me to choose one I would be glad. 1) Eureka Atom (First hand - Price: 675£) 2) Rocket Fausto (First hand - Price: Price: 810£) 3) Sanremo SR70 (Fiorenzato F64E) (Second hand - 8 months old - Price: 560£) 4) San Marco SM92 (Second hand - 2,5 years old - Price: 450£)
  2. Fiorenzato professional coffee grinder | in Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross | Gumtree https://www.gumtree.com/p/other-kitchen-appliances/fiorenzato-professional-coffee-grinder/1278772621 Nice grinder but just out of my price range..
  3. I renovated this, including the doser but decided to dispense with the doser. As a temporary measure I’m using a cut down bottle. In my defence it is an Italian one, but it’s not pretty. I think fighting my way through the stainless steel of an octopus funnel might be the answer, but I’d love to find another answer if possible. Here’s a photo for your entertainment...
  4. Hi Everyone I'm having a clear out of my grinder and coffee machine (see other thread) as I am totally simplifying things at home as my wife is just starting to drink the stuff and we now have a 'easy' machine. Anyway, here is my red Fiorenzato F64EVO coffee grinder. 64mm burrs, digital display with temperature and humidity (it doesnt auto-adjust to compensate). I've had this since new, done less than 1700 shots so only really just run in. It has the fan at the back (this is an evo model thing) to keep the burrs cool when grinding. I think I bought it just over a year ago (co
  5. This is a nice clean machine, Simple to use, sub 4000 shots and does a decent and consistent espresso grind. I bought it without a hopper but couldn't source one in this country so it has one which has been 'encouraged to fit' and works fine. I've also just realised after taking photos that I've left out the stainless steel grounds tray as I didn't need it - this is immaculate and included. I'm looking for £275.00 ovno I will deliver free within 100 miles of Edinburgh but can be collected/uplifted - buyer must organise. thanks Al
  6. Hi there, I have been roasting my own beans for a couple of years now and I am well into this infinite and exciting journey of coffee buying, roasting, tasting and brewing. I buy my beans from falcon coffee, use a Sage Grinder pro and a Sage DuoTemp Pro. I am sure that this equipment must seem amateur to a lot of you but we all have to start somewhere! I am upgrading my grinder very soon to a Fiorenzato F64 EVO. Has anyone heard off this or got any thoughts? I look forward to getting more knowledge up here. Everything I do is by trial and error and I have already had s
  7. Fiorenzato Doge 63 grinder for sale. Got hold of this a couple of years ago, fitted new burrs, egg timer mod done, lens hood fitted and my own step less mod done. Never really got much use off me as I just could not get it passed the kitchen police, and have recently ended up getting a Niche. I have all parts to bring it back to dosered if required and original adjustment retainer. Asking for £70 collected from North Wales or £90 posted.
  8. I was warned when I got my Pavoni that it would be the slippery slope to wanting more, did I believe them? Of course not, I scoffed and claimed that it’s totally ridiculous to suggest that getting your first machine could send someone charging head first down the rabbit hole. So anyway I now have this...... Bezzera Strega and Fiorenzato F64E. Oooops.
  9. Evening all. I've recently won a Fiorenzato grinder on eBay that'll be winging its way over to me soon: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302048036813?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I'm fairly sure it is, but can someone confirm I have actually bought a T80? The plan is to refurbish as necessary, replace the hopper with something smaller and remove the doser. I have a 3D printer at home so will probably try make most bits entirely custom. I'm expecting to have to do the burrs and have read that Mazzer SJ burrs would also fit - can anyone confirm and
  10. As the title says just wondering if anyone uses or have come across the Fiorenzato Espresso machines ?
  11. I've gone bold. And I'm over losing the raffle. https://www.dropbox.com/s/sifd583fsyyoh3n/Photo%2001-12-2016%2C%2012%2051%2036.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/negv7wc9lj2b5ad/Photo%2001-12-2016%2C%2012%2051%2027.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/wo0xu7jhbzmu2or/Photo%2001-12-2016%2C%2012%2051%2020.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/zismxr5nqo7qmk6/Photo%2001-12-2016%2C%2012%2051%2048.jpg?dl=0 Sadly the 65E resides with Irek now.
  12. So I bought a used Bricoletta a few weeks back, and no matter what I did I couldn't get the pressure at the grouphead up past 6.5bar. I've been having fun poking around it and getting to know its innards - there are some great resources out there, and I followed various posts on HB and CG to remove and clean the mushroom, adjust the OPV, descale the brew path etc. etc. All to no avail. I've finally figured out what the hell is wrong and wanted to share in case somebody is searching for a fix in the future: the Bricoletta originally shipped with an Ulka EX7 pump, which bizarre
  13. Hi, Currently in the process of buying a Fiorenzato Ducale Levatte single group machine subject to the current owner demoing it for me. It's going to be a huge step up from my current Aeropress and Eureka Mignon setup. Only thing is the lack of info online about specifications etc. Anyone familiar with this machine with relevant info? Many thanks in advance.
  14. Having trouble finding any information on these other than some are re-branded Fiorenzato grinders. Possibly seen one that looks like an F4 and considering purchase. Any reconsiderations?
  15. Hi, I've managed to barter the seller down to £170 including postage for a Fiorenzato F5. Is it worth the price? The item is from Sofia, Bulgaria, which concerns me a little bit (but his English is perfect and he refers to things in pounds, so not sure if he is an ex-pat). I don't know much about this grinder but I've read that its of similar quality to a Mazzer Super Jolly, what do you guys think... shall I go for it or hold off? Cheers, Rich
  16. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321796420270?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Ive been watching this for the past week, way to far to travel but seems like it will be a bargain!
  17. Well I finally received my new NS Oscar coffee machine and am thoroughly enjoying it. There's so much to learn though! I now realise I need a new grinder. The Ascaso i2 I have now (bought second hand a few years ago) is the weak link. After lots of reading I've narrowed it down to 2 grinders: Eureka Mignon - €302 ($330, £222) inc. shipping Mahlkonig Vario - €379 ($415, £280) inc. shipping I'm favouring the Eureka because of the price, sturdiness and favourable reviews. I haven't read any reviews that convince me the Vario is definitely worth getting over the Eureka (some pu
  18. Moving house soon and smaller kitchen means I need to scale down appliances! I have a Fiorenzato F5 Grinder which is in good working order, though aesthetically a little challenged. Been using it for around a year and has been superb for me. No urge to replace it, but needs must. I believe it is a well-thought of device - apparently not quite in the Mazzer SJ league but not far from it - do some googling and see if you agree. I find it gives very consistent results, though grinds do seem to collect in the chute (I only ever do a cup at a time so notice this more than some would). It
  19. The above size burrs are fitted to some CARIMALI, FIORENZATO, OBEL, PAVONI, ROSSI and BRASILIA badged grinders. Anyone got any of the above? Old burrs are good because I seek Hole pitch info and reverse side info only for a conversion. Just want to emphasise the LH rotation bit Thanks
  20. Hi all I need to pick your collective brains. I just bought this beast and I'm not sure what model it is. Any ideas?
  21. I have a fiorenzato grinder which sometimes sprays the grinds and it seems to stick to the sides of the doser in a static way (rather than dumping into the doser). I clean the grinder out a check for blockages but find nothing ! The extractions always come out badly and it really annoys me - this genuinely makes me an unhappy person !! Eventually (after wasting loads of coffee) it comes good again. Wondered whether this is familiar to anyone / anyone knows whats going on. Many thanks in advance - Adam
  22. Hello can anyone help? in the shops we have Gaggia machines currently - was wondering is there anywhere that offers comprehensive commercial machine repair training courses. We're up Norf and choice of engineers is a little limited, they tend to cover all of Scotland. Regards Dougal

  24. Hi all, Took delivery of this grinder yesterday courtesy of coffeechap. I have the lens hood mod and will be looking to single dose. Before I use it in anger, can anyone offer me some advice? I don't want to do something stupid and break the thing! - Is it OK to adjust the burrs without the motor running? - How do I go about finding the burr touching point? Motor running and gradually go finer until I hear some rubbing? Or will that wreck the burrs? - Do I need something on top to weigh the beans down when grinding? I don't have a spare tamper... does it have to be a heavy
  25. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sanremo-SR-50-A-Coffee-Grinder-/321121697073?pt=UK_Homes_Garden_Kitchen_Kettles&hash=item4ac4583d31 looks like its pretty much new. These are very good grinders indeed. If i wanted a doser, i'd buy it at that price.
