I have before me a rocket evoluzione with which i have a technical issue. It might be essential to know that the rocket evoluzione has a rotary pump and not a vibration pump. When pulling a shot (with a blind portafilter in) the brew pressure gauge immediately shows the pressure to be 9 bars, but the pressure rapidly climbs all the way up to around 14-15 bars. Obviously by now the safety "over pressure valve" has opened and is letting water out the front of the machine to release all the extra pressure. My initial thought was to adjust the pressure adjustment-nut on the pump and so i

These are made by Compak, brand new burrsets. I guess we can all agree this is far from perfection: It's stupid but I would advise anyone to check their burrsets in brand new grinders as well, you never know if the factory haven't fitted one of their "good enough" burrsets insides. Shame on Compak... T.

Hi guys, had my barista express for about 20 days now. The last week or so when steaming the steam seems to either drop off significantly in pressure and/or start to purge as if I'd turned off the steam. My routine is to switch steam on until it's reached steaming temp and there is a full flow of steam coming out of the wand, switch steam off, within 2-3 submerge tip in jug and turn steam back on. Any suggestions? Cheers

For Sale due to upgrade - Buyer collects from Norwich La Pavoni Puccino PCL Bought new from Coffee Italia in 2008 and used to make a couple of shots a day. It's a nice machine but not that common, so please read up on it first if interested. Shows signs of wear - drip tray a bit worn at bottom and cup rings on the top Otherwise in fully working order. Comes with manual, plastic tamper, auto milk frother thing I never used, single and double baskets. I'll chuck in a metal tamper too. New price from Coffee Italia is £359 so £200 ONO. Edit 27/01 - How about £1

Original thread and fix by randymir Here Gaggia Compact - No Power I have a Gaggia Digital Compact that I've had for a couple of years. It's been a great machine up until a few days ago. The machine was on and we made latte and left the machine on. I went back a couple of hours later and the machine had no power. I', pretty technical, so proceeded to take it apart looking for any type of fuse. None that I could find. O also checked the thermistor and it's fine too. It appears the main board is getting power, so I'm think it might be something on the main board, but can't b

I already own a Coffee Deluxe and was looking for a Gaggia for my static caravan and bought one on ebay recently (a Baby Dose model, the one with 6 buttons across the front). After about 4 weeks use (made about 30 great coffees), I left the machine on for longer than normall ast Friday after making another great coffee. When I went back to the machine after about 2.5 hours, the lights had stopped flashing. Thanks to "Gaggiamanualservice", I think I have now diagnosed the problem as a faulty "CPU board" and again thanks to "Gaggiamanualservice"'s help, I think I have the confidence to fix

Hi everyone, In the last couple of days my Sage Barista Express has developed a new fault when using the steam wand, where the pump continues to run after the steam wand has been turned off. I tried turning the steam back on and lots came out, but when I switched it off the steam stopped again but the pump was still running. Usually when the steam wand is being used and the switch is rotated back to the 'off' position the pump sound stops and shortly after, the system is purged with cold water. Sometimes after using the steam wand, the casing around the dial to turn the steam on
