I could get a good microfoam with the single hole tip but it takes quite a while to do. I tried the expobar two hole replacement tip and although it was much faster but could never get good results. N.B. I had previously adjusted the steam pressure on my machine to slightly over 1.2bar from the stock 1bar I noticed BB had a steam tip set for the Alex Duetto and asked if they would fit my machine and Claudette replied quickly that she had tried it for me and they did indeed fit (great service as usual). I ordered the set and have been trying out the two four hole tips over the last week (I’ve still to try the three hole tip). What a difference , really nice silky microfoam easily produced in a very short time! I wish I had done this ages ago. Rob
I could do with some advice. I'm looking to upgrade this year from my Piccino. I was wondering what the main differences are between the Expobar Office Leva Dual Boiler Coffee Machine & PID and the Rocket R58, which costs around £600 more. Another option was the cherub, Its just a shame theres no PID on these yet
Hello, I thought a quick update on my situation for anybody who might be interested. A quick recap; I had a Sage dual boiler which I just could not get on with and after much deliberation and excellent advice from the forum members, I ordered an Expobar Office Leva Dual boiler machine. I had had my heart set on a Rocket but after trying the Expobar I plumped for it and got it plumbed in and with a rotary pump. I am so so so so SO happy with my choice. The coffee is wonderful, the machine offers me the ability to control the important variables in the coffee making process and it makes wonderfully creamy espressos and excellent frothy milk for cappuccinos. The rotary pump is quiet and efficient and I am just absolutely delighted with it. I just wanted to once again express my gratitude to all of those involved in my choice. Good evening and thank you.
