How do people rate this machine? Have got a vario but to be honest have had enough of it after just 1 year. Has had a few repairs, LCD went and the belt/cog had gone. All fixed now but this has cost me labour bill (only small though) I know I have prob had some bad luck on it..... Would go for a mazzer, the height being the only prob. Does the Eureka have any probs with clumping? Or are the grains looking good!
For sale is my much loved Eureka Mignon Mk 2 in a fetching grey! Bought from Bella Barista in March 2013, it is in great condition. This grinder was a brilliant purchase for me, and I have been very happy with the quality it has offered for the price, a great entry into the more serious side of coffee. Looking for £210 inc postage, would drop a little for collection from myself in Hackney Wick. I am also happy to meet someone somewhere more central too if that was more convenient. Available from the weekend. Thanks, Matt
Currently I am using a Eureka Mignon MkII which I got new from BB about 5 months ago to use with my Cherub. If I was to change to a Super Jolly would that be a worthy upgrade or would I really need to get something significantly better? I have a chance to get an almost new SJ (Timer) and reckon I could make the change without much cost if its worthwhile... Any thoughts? I must say, I am not unhappy with the Eureka, and quite like the simplicity but you know what this hobby is like! My intention is to weigh and grind on demand as I do with the mignon.
