Recently, my espressos have been tasting... A bit sour and metallic. I tasted the water directly from the group head and it did not taste great. I descaled and backflushed with the appropriate programs which appeared to improve the water taste a little bit but espresso was still tasting bad. Long story short, I checked all of the bits and bobs I can remove for cleaning, shower screen, gasket etc and cleaned them up and then I shone a torch upwards only to see this. Hi all, I have a Gaggia Classic with a Silva steam wand attached. Today I removed the wand to find it's slightly corroded (notice the green stuff at the tip): How should I clean this? Should I also try to clean inside where it connects to the machine? Have I done something wrong which would cause this? Can it be prevented? Thanks!

Hi All, Had a MaraX now for nearly a month now and noticed small ‘green’ spots on the e61 mushroom and on the threads. Also, the hot water tap has slight corrosion and I’m not sure but is discolouration on the shower dispersion screw normal ? Pictures attached hopefully. It’s not good enough but I’m currently using Brita filtered tap water and the Lelit in tank softener but currently looking at getting an Osmio Zero.
