  1. Any recommendations/insight into either of these, please? The Edinburgh one has 26 Exhibitors and the Glasgow one has 55 Exhibitors - not all the ones that are going to be in Edin are going to be in Glasg. Anyone experienced either/both? I'm inclined towards Glasgow, purely because of '55' as opposed to '26'. I can't be bothered travelling past the border, well because I live way up in Aberdeen so it's just too much hassle. And I only want to go to one so I don't want to pick the wrong one. Thanks guys.
  2. Anyone ever been to the Birmingham Coffee festival? Is it worth going? If so, what day would you recommend? It’s this week and I have an urge to go but not sure if it’s worth the tenner on the door. Not too interested in watching any of the seminars (unless it’s recommended?), just walking around and having a look/buying some beans.
  3. Did anyone head over there this weekend? I'm thinking of getting the train up tomorrow, is it worth it? http://www.londoncoffeefestival.com/
  4. Just picked up via twitter what most of you in Bristol will already have known - that the fair city is going coffee festival in September. Probably well timed in a good spread across the year of UK festivals from London-Glasgow-Bristol-Manchester. Not a lot of detail yet unless anyone knows more. It should be a great showcase for the growing number of SW based roasters.
  5. It's not too far off now, wondered if anybody is planning to go along? Any of our lovely forum sponsors or similar actually exhibiting? I think I'll be there on the Thursday https://www.londoncoffeefestival.com/
  6. Hi everyone I wanted to introduce you to a brand new coffee festival taking place this summer 4-6 August at Powderham Castle in Devon, The South West Coffee Festival. This event has many fantastic exhibitors signed up already, including Origin, Cakesmiths, Voyager & Vegware. The weekend will have opportunities to network and make new acquaintances on our trade show on 4th August, and for the coffee enthusiasts, the rest of the weekend will be a consumer show with workshops, tastings, demos, cuppings & more from our amazing contributors. Plus it's all hosted on the incredible grounds of Powderham Castle, home to the Earl of Devon, there is so much to see! Until the end of June there is 50% off all tickets, so you can get yours here using code SUMMER50 http://swcoffeefest.com/tickets-south-west-coffee-festival I'd be happy to answer any questions surrounding the festival that you might have!
  7. Is there likely to be any Forum offer on tickets for this? I just picked up a copy of Caffeine and see that they are offering two tickets for £20.

  10. Hi, I just wondered if anyone could tell me how the coffee festivals compare? I've been to London & Birmingham and was wondering how Manchester compares to these? I was disappointed with Birmingham Festival this year and so not sure whether to bother going to Manchester if it is a similar size - ???
