Hi all So I've had my e37J grinder a while now and although it's great at grinding, I'm constantly annoyed at the grind distribution, which is a bit messy at best. I saw that the e37T had this specially designed metal guard they call a shuffle snoot that redirects the grinds straight down and although I tried getting one through ceado, they just redirected me to my dealer. The dealer was then told by them on enquiry that they wouldn't supply one for my grinder (e37j) because it wasn't an e37T Now frankly I don't give a fork, I'm happy to pay for it and adapt but apparently "comp

No doubt some will already know this but.... If you want to clean your Mignon thoroughly, prise (comes off easily) the badge off the front to reveal a fixing screw. Remove the screw and lift off the front plate to reveal the discharge chute internals. You can thoroughly clean out the chute including the plastic guide - just remember how it fits before removing. This should help minimise clumping as the coffee grinds do build up in this area, restricting the outlet.

Hi I have a DeLonghi Magnifica S Eca that I have been using for about a year. I used the ground coffee chute for some decaff a while ago and have just looked into it and the sides are covered in mould. Before I start scrubbing with a weak bleach solution, I would like to know what is the best way to clean it please. Any suggestions?

I have a new (new to me, not brand new!) Mazzer Royal and have spent the evening doing the clean sweep and egg timer mods, which seem to have worked well to minimise retention. However, I still need to add a schnozzola or elvinator to ensure the grounds come out of the Doser in a controlled way. Seemingly, the Elvinator seems to be well regarded. Has anyone got the template file for it? I can't find it anywhere online, all the links to it appear to be broken. I'm assuming that there isn't a more preferred solution to controlling the throw of the grounds out if the doser these days?

Hi all, just wondering if someone can advise regarding the Rocket Fausto exit chute and grind retention. A while ago my grinder suddenly needed big changes in grind/time (with the same bean) to get the required weight. While I do take the top burr off and clean it pretty regularly I took it apart and noticed the exit chute was pretty much blocked. A good clean later and all was well again. Then today I took the top off again while I was replacing the control panel and again noticed alot of grind retention and again the exit chute looked pretty blocked. Needless to say I gave it a good cl

Had a quick look around this forum, just got a new Eureka Mignon, can you remove the chute which delivers the ground coffee to the porta filter for cleaning? This is the only part of the cleaning process I'm not sure of and can't seem to find any info across the net. thanks for any replies

Unfortunately the handle of my Gaggia Grinder (MDF) snapped off the other morning, fortunately this was AFTER grinding the beans so I still had my morning coffee while pondering what to do next. After taking the mechanism apart to examine and hopefully repair, I decided that I'd never liked the dosing mechanism anyway so why spend money on repairing it. Instead I decided to see if I could convert it to a rudimentary style on-demand grinder. The doser comes off very easily; 1) remove the two black rubber bungs inside the top of the hopper to reveal two screws. 2) remove the two

Has anyone ever thought of a smaller hopper for the Iberital. I chuck in some beans and grind for my morning brew then usually have to tip the grinder to get the remaining beans out of the hopper back into the bag. I don't want to leave the beans in the hopper all day. If i only put in the required amount by weight for my immediate needs, the beans bounce all over the hopper rather than sitting in the burrs. My thought process was a smaller hopper, almost like a tube, giving the beans no place to go but to sit in the burrs. Has anyone developed this idea???
