  1. El carajillo

Last night saw delightful moon with a lilac /purple sky. Thought great photo, removing camera from bag the lens hood snagged and pulled the camera out of my hand (Nikon D300), just a light bump on the table. Proceeded to take photo, OH OH funny grey lines on focus screen. Broken mirror and damaged screen:eek:. Need to send it back to Nikon to see IF it is repairable:rolleyes:.
  2. Moment Bundle 1 x Moment v2 18mm Wide Lens (includes a front and rear lens protector). 1 x Moment v2 iPhone XS Case (latest version with protection across the bottom too). 1 x Moment 2 Lens Carry Case £110 inc P&P Listed elsewhere too.
  3. For sale is my much loved and rare Tokina AT-X 535 PRO DX 50-135mm f/2.8 for Nikon. it's a beautiful lens and in excellent condition with front and rear caps and hood, its designed for a crop sensor fit (DX) and is pin sharp. This is a rare lens that took me 8 months to find, however I'm reluctantly selling as i cant use it to its full potential any longer as I've just upgraded to full frame. (From Tokina lens literature) The new Tokina AT-X 535 PRO DX lens is a 50-135 with a fast constant aperture of f/2.8. This lens gives digital photographers the similar to the industry standard 80-210 telephoto zoom lens in 35mm camera terms but is much more compact and lightweight. The lens features SD glass lens elements to correct for chromatic aberrations and focuses all colors accurately at the film plane, making the AT-X 535 PRO DX an APO lens. The front element has a newly formulated WP or "Water Proof" optical coating on the glass. This new coating makes marks such as spots left by water or finger-prints much easier to clean than standard multi-coating. Other features include a built-in tripod collar and One-touch focus clutch mechanism for fast switching between auto focus and manual focus modes. if you see the reviews here: http://www.amazon.com/Tokina-AT-X-Telephoto-50-135mm-Nikon/dp/B000LRL3DU you will see there are lots of fantastic reviews for this lens and all 5 stars! looking for £330 + postage to a forum member
  4. Can anyone give me some first hand recommendations on a camera set up they use for either indoor or outdoor (if they are weatherproof). Ive read plenty of reviews including NEST etc, but want some real life pro's and cons. Ideally, I'm looking for a single or double (maybe 3 - price dependant) pack of smart cameras, that can be connected to a device, like phone and monitored. This is for nothing more than seeing what my dog gets up to in the day and also having one on the front door to monitor when Parcels are left and bits like that. Cheers all
  5. Hi Guys, Looking to sell my new X-Pro1 camera + accessories (18mm and 27mm Fuji lenses). Purchased new 3 weeks ago, but now surplus to requirements. I've basically had a play, taken approx 100 shots with the 18mm lens, and put it back in the box. Everything is in original packaging etc. as new condition. The 27mm lens not even taken out of its box yet. Came as a kit with the 2 lenses + I've added a new manfrotto bag and Sandisk Extreme 64GB SDCard http://kenrockwell.com/fuji/x-pro1.htm I paid in excess of £600 for it 3 weeks ago. Quick sale, will taken £400 + delivery costs
  6. Has anyone used these? My DSLR is old enough not to have video so I wondered if there is any mileage in getting something to fit my boy's sony phone
  7. I'm really struggling to choose a camera and I realise asking here may only muddle my mind further but at least I may learn some things. Originally I was looking at Canon 1300D or Nikon D3300 DSLR cameras but my friend made the very good point that the best camera is the camera you have on you. I'm unlikely to want to carry round even a small DSLR with me. These leans me towards compact digital which I know are hugely inferior. Unfortunately budget isn't massive and something used off eBay is likely my main purchase avenue. I'm very keen on the Lumix GX800 with interchangeable lens but actually the GX80 (much more expensive new) seems more obtainable used. There's also the Sony A5000 and A5100 with interchangeable lens. I like the idea of a compact digital with interchangeable lenses. Does anyone have any experience with these? Budget is probably £350 max. Thanks in advance.
  8. Canon PowerShot SX730 HS for sale Brand new and boxed, never used but works perfectly. Comes with wrist strap, battery and charger. Great for vlogging as it has a tiltable LCD touchscreen and full HD. Retails new between £250-300 but will take £160inc postage.Happy to answer any questions if you need more information
  9. I've decided to sell my camera and related gear as I get very little use out of it now. It's all been well looked after and is in very good condition. I've priced everything up in line with secondhand equipment on the LCE website and made what I believe are fair estimates on bits I couldn't find listed on LCE/the Bay. I would like £600, which is about a £150 saving on the individual components. I would like to sell this all together so no splitting just yet. Below is a list of the contents, plus the secondhand price listed online/estimated. p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Arial; min-height: 12.0px} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Arial} Canon EOS 550D with genuine strap £170 Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM £230 Tamron SP 17-50mm f/2.8 DiII, VC £250 Lowepro Fastpack 250 Bag £50 Jessops 360AFD Flash £20 Lapel Microphone £5 Extra Canon Battery £10 Transcend 32GB SDHC Card £8 SanDisk Ultra II 8GB SDHC £5 Battery Charger Pack USB Cable Please note that the second flash is not included - when it was delivered it didn't trigger unless I pressed the test button, so they sent me a replacement (the one included in the sale); I'm going to keep the faulty one to manually trigger some long exposure experiments with my film camera. The Kodak 8GB memory card is also not included.
  10. Ordered from Onestop Digital on 22nd May this year (received around 2 wks later) and hardly used since then. Bought for one short work trip to travel light but I prefer to use my primes so looking to move this on to a new home. Looking for £280 plus delivery but would be open to the following swaps (potentially with cash adjustment): Sigma 50mm f/1.4 ART Nikon SB-910 or SB-5000 Godox Witstro AD-360 This is suitable for any Nikon camera but is at its best on a full frame camera. On a crop-sensor would work out at 36-105mm equivalent. Includes original box and all that it came with.
  11. For sale is my favourite and much loved wide angle lens, the Tokina AT-X 11-16mm f/2.8 116 PRO DX-II Lens for Nikon . This lens is boxed with front and rear caps and hood, in excellent condition. (taken from Tokina's website) The AT-X 116 PRO DX-II 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon Mount by Tokina is an ultra-wide angle autofocus zoom lens with a fast constant f/2.8 maximum aperture. The AT-X 116 PRO DX-II lens is designed for digital cameras with APS-C-size CMOS or CCD sensors. Its angle of view ranges from 104-84° and it can focus as close as 11.8". Nine diaphragm blades help to produce soft out-of-focus backgrounds while two Super-Low Dispersion glass elements and two aspheric elements help to achieve excellent contrast, sharpness and minimal chromatic aberration. As an update to their AT-X 116 PRO DX, Tokina has improved the multi-layer coatings to minimize light reflection and improve optical performance. This updated PRO DX-II also has an internal silent focusing motor that allows the lens to utilize autofocus on Nikon cameras that do not have an AF drive gear and motor. Tokina's One-Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism allows the photographer to switch between autofocus and manual focus with a simple push of the focus ring. Snapping it forward into autofocus and back into manual focus is all that needs be done, there's no need to adjust the AF/MF switch on the camera body. A constant f/2.8 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light situations and also aids in creating a shallow depth of field. An internal silent focusing motor allows the lens to use autofocus on Nikon bodies that do not have an AF drive gear and motor. Two Super-Low Dispersion glass elements and two aspheric elements, as well as improved multi-coating, achieve excellent sharpness and contrast and reduce aberrations. The One-Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism offers a simple switch from manual focus to autofocus and back again. The focus ring snaps forward for AF and back for MF. It's operable with one hand and eliminates the need to switch from AF to MF on the camera body. Features Aperture Range: f/2.8 to f/22 Designed for Cameras with APS-C Sensors Internal Silent Focusing AF Motor One-Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism Two Aspheric Lens Elements Two Super-Low Dispersion Lens Elements Multi-Layer Coating 77mm Filter Thread you can also read the review on this lens at Ken Rockwell. here: http://www.kenrockwell.com/tokina/11-16mm-ii.htm looking for £300 + postage for a forum member (these usually sell for £350 on eBay)

    GoPro alternatives

Decided to shoot some coffee related content and need a smallish camera, my HTC M8 isn't too bad, but I reckon something similar to a GoPro would be easier to handle (definitely easier than my D800 with a zoom lens). So I went online and checked the prices of the top of the range models...holy molly Batman. So, looking for alternatives, can anyone recommend something decent for not a lot of monies? 1080p HD is all I need really, decent low light performance would be a plus. T.
