  2. Hey Coffee Forums, So I created a thread yesterday to gather if there was any interest in a slim drip tray for the Gaggia Classic (to enable taller cups/scales). It turns out I'm not the only person who has suffered this issue. Given I have a 3D printer, I printed one for myself and am happily using it, so I thought I'd offer them up for sale on here. Price: £13, delivered (normal first class post). I can upgrade the postage to signed for, for an extra £1. Images of the drip tray are below (I will be printing them in black, though I can print in the blue if anyone really wants). The tray is printed in PLA, which I've found to be more than sufficient. Note the surface finish isn't as smooth as the original drip tray, though I find it to be more than acceptable. One other note is that I had to extend the drain pipe, I just cut up a straw. Any questions feel free to ask! Tobie.
  3. I bought this in mid January from Nisbets for the bargain price of £400 brand new, but upgraditis has struck hard and I’m wishing I’d spent more to start with. It’s a capable dual boiler machine and makes a decent shot. I’ve never used the steamer, and have made 3 shots max with it, 5 or 6 days a week. It’s been fed Volvic, and cleaned, backflushed, Espazollad regularly. Im after £325 for it, collection only, in South Yorkshire. lucy poems by william wordsworth analysis
  4. I bought these from Coffee Island all of a week ago so they are as new, still at 100% charge. They're just not for me although their responsiveness and accuracy are quite something after the kitchen scales I've been using for years. CI are doing them at the moment for £140 and I'm looking for £110 including Special Delivery or meet up in London. Receipt included so you will have an almost full warranty. Thanks for looking, Ed
  5. Recycled skateboard tamper. This is a bit of a random one, but I quite like it. For the LOTR fans, it’s like the eye of Sauron. Finished with CA to a high standard. Stands approx 93mm tall with a handle diameter of 43mm. Little splash of copper detail to finish it off. I can offer a small range of bases to go with this. 51mm 53mm 58mm 58.4mm 58.5mm sharp (extra £10) Asking £70 (£80 for 58.5mm sharp) + £5 p&p (UK mainland). This is a discounted price from my Etsy for forum members only. This is listed on my Etsy too. Payment via PayPal friends and family. Cheers, Joey
  6. Bought this when the first batch from Kickstarter were being despatched. It has only been used a handful of times since being in my possession. Having an EK43 means that I tend to use that going between espresso and drip, thus the aergrind has been neglected for quite some time. £80 posted RMSD
  7. I recently got bitten by the upgrade bug so it's time to find a new loving home for these two: 2016 ECM Mechanika Profi IV: £1100 2016 ECM S-Automatik 64 grinder: £350 £1350 if bought together (which would be my preference) These were bought new from BB in August 2016, so warranty has expired but they've both been good as gold. The machine had Brita tap water for the first year of its life, and has had Ashbeck ever since I moved house to an area with harder water. It's done roughly 2-4 shots a day. It's the rotary pump version and comes with plumb-in kit if you prefer to do that (I've only ever run it off the reservoir). I've recently replaced the group gasket and fitted a IMS shower screen. I'm also throwing in a single, double and naked PF, ECM convex tamper, ECM tamping station and blind basket (see pics). I already had a E37S when I bought the machine, but bought the S-Automatik in a package deal with the (ridiculous!) intention to use it as a secondary/decaf grinder which didn't really happen, so it's practically unused. It's a great combo and it has to be said they make a very handsome pair. Great for someone looking to make a step up e.g. from a Classic or Silvia (as I did). I don't have any of the original packaging, although probably have the manual and BB documentation somewhere if you need it. I don't want to ship this due to damage risk so collection only please, but I could probably meet you somewhere nearby. I'm based near Maidenhead, Berks. I can do Paypal/Bank transfer. Happy to answer any questions. Obviously all sales to be agreed on thread per forum rules. (I should note I'm a long-time lurker but newbie poster so forum police, please rap me on the knuckles if I've done anything wrong here!)
  8. As title. I bought bulk from Jaguar espresso and didn’t end up using it all. I have 10 bottles available. This is the professional stuff so you need to be careful with it. £7.50 posted per bottle. PayPal friends and family. Cheers
  9. Serious grinder , excellent grind consistency for Filter coffee. 65mm burrs and 780W motor. This unit is used and has typical scratches etc but perfect working order , the burrs would last forever in a home use setting as its only had approx 10kg through it over the last couple of years I suspect they are barely run in. In terms of results in the cup this would give the EK43 a run for its money, very different cup profile to the EK but very clean and arguably sweeter. If I had no need to do espresso ** at home I would have no issues running this as my home grinder. ** Ive never tried taking it as fine as espresso, it might be able to do it?! Info here : https://www.coffeeitalia.co.uk/mahlkonig-fcg-6-0.html Looking for £425 ONO, Collection only (Bham) Photos available on request
  10. Due to a recent upgrade for a Rocket R58 I am now selling my 1y old Sage Duo Temp Pro. It was bought at Lakeland so I believe there is ~2y of warranty remaining. As you can see from the pictures it is in great conditions except for the usual light marks on the dip tray and in front of the machine. I took all pictures with the DTP below 3 LED spots to highlight these but in real conditions they are not that obvious at all. I just could not show them otherwise. This DTP has been used for 2 cups/day and was only filled with Ashbeck water. I descaled it a few times but never saw anything coming out of it so I'm quite confident to say it is in great condition. It comes with everything you can see on the picture which came with the DTP (Tamper, PF, cleaning tools, 4 baskets, razer dose trimming tool, etc.) as well as a naked PF with a wooden handle. I am asking £160 for it, I live in London and would prefer collection in person

Sage Smart Grinder Pro - £120 Great working order Purchased in April 2017 so should be under warranty still, but unsure how the warranty works after resale. 13. As you may have read in the general forum, 3 years ago I became disabled due to a Traumatic Brain Injury accident and sadly can no longer manage a manual machine. So my beloved Alex is up for sale with a few accessories for £1,200, payment only by PayPal or Bank transfer please! it's in superb nick, having been bought new from Bella Barista in Wellingborough in 2012,only run on softened water or Tesco Ashbeck and recently serviced by the engineer at Butterworths in Bury St Edmunds, where my machine is also advertise for sale, who declared it the cleanest home machine he'd ever seen. Has to be buyer collect from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, as it weighs over 30kg!! Please keep any negotiations visible on the forum so all can see! Tried but failed to upload Bella Barista's pdf about the machine but suggest anyone seriously interested take a look on their website first.
  14. This is essentially the same grinder as the Eureka MCMCA - grinds pretty much on par with the Super Jolly, and functions pretty much the same as well. After having used this for 2 years (pulling a doubleshot a day), I have finally gotten lazy enough to get tired of the dosered routine, and have side-graded to a doserless grinder. This has 64mm burrs, an absolutely solid burr carrier, and is built like a tank. Have removed the hopper because it was stupidly big, and replaced it with a lens hood, 3D printed lid and 3D printed ring to sit in the bean chamber. This came with a tamper attached that I removed (but still have lying around), as well as a lid-thing of sorts in the doser chamber that I also removed to get access to sweep out the chute because I single dose (I modded the wiring to remove the automatic cut-off switch which nobody uses because who is going to fill up the doser with ground coffee really?). Based in SE-Central London, and willing to pull you a shot if you want to come by, but can ship this if anyone wants to arrange their own courier and risk damage to the doser - I would wager the grinder itself can run the tough mudder and come out whirring and spinning no problem (but it is heavy - to the tune of 12kg or so). Sorry for the sideways pictures - don't know how to reorientate them!
  15. *** Price Reduced *** I have an original Gaggia Classic for sale….. It needs some attention as the steam wand has recently stopped delivering steam – may just be blocked and need a descale?? Or indeed it would be a good modding project for someone with the skills. Otherwise it works (I know – a bit oxymoronic). Machine would be available for collection/delivery only in the Guildford area of Surrey. I’m kind of guessing at (was £100) £80.00 being the right point – even as a machine to be broken for parts? I’ll add some photos as soon as possible.
  16. For sale: Bosco 2 group, hand lever professional / commercial coffee machine with Mazzer Super Jolly Grinder Selling my Bosco Sorrento 2 group, hand lever professional coffee machine, in great condition and great working order. Hand made in Naples by Bosco, this machine is a beauty and pulls consistent shots. It is dual fuel, making it perfect for a mobile coffee business and comes with pump and accessories. I am also selling my Mazzer Super Jolly manual grinder, which is only 10 months old and as new. Hardly used. NOW SELLING FOR £2,500 ONO Located in South West London. Pick up preferred, would post at cost and buyer insuring.
  17. Firstly, I hope this doesn’t contravene any forum rules. Having read the group buy rules I felt this was better off in the for sale section, as I’m selling my services. Ok so I’m going to make up some more Sage 54mm naked portafilters. These will just be standards with the original handles left in place. I’ll be limiting this to 5 for now as I don’t want to take on too many right now. If interested, please add your name to the thread and we will create a list. Once the 5 spots are taken I’ll send out PM’s to arrange payment. From then the portafilters will be ordered and delivered to me for modification. As I don’t do this full time, I have to use the lathe at my workplace. Sometimes I can’t get there for a number of weeks (I’m a mobile worker) but I would aim to complete as quick as possible. Just as long as everyone is aware that this won’t be an immediate turnaround. In the past I have done these for less, but I’ve now come to realise that I need to value my time more than I did. So the price will be the cost of the portafilter from sage £36.95 My labour £30 Tracked postage £5 (UK mainland) TOTAL £71.95 For anyone outside of the UK I would need to get a quote. Payment to be made via PayPal friends and family only please. Like I mentioned at the start. This is a PRE-ORDER. Hopefully this doesn’t break any rules. Thank you
  18. p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #454545}p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #454545; min-height: 14.0px}Hello, For sale I have a Gaggia Classic in pretty good condition, with many of the standard mods. This is Pre Philips one (2002) and built by Gaggia in Italy so it boasts a larger 3-way solenoid valve (the newer Phillips models have a smaller 3-way valve and are prone to blocking). It has had the standard steam wand ungraded to the Rancillio Steam Wand for your steaming pleasure. I have adjusted the over pressure valve (OPV) to 9 Bar for a better espresso, and can include the porta-filter with the pressure-gauge if you want to play with it any more. I recently replaced the gasket. It also has a temperature probe to give an idea of the boiler temperature. As well as the coffee machine, it includes the a regular port-filter, bottom-less porta-filter (which I’m going to miss!), single and double basket. I have loved this machine, and am only selling it on after upgrading to my lovely Izzo Alex 2 Collection in person, Thanks!
  19. I bought this grinder in September 2018 from Bella Barista, comes with their transferable warranty. This is the version with polished aluminium finish and the 3 dose interface. Comes with the excellent 83mm red speed burrs for lower retention, less friction as well as extended life. I have put 18kg through it according to the counter and these burrs are rated for 3000kg. It has the cupping hopper which holds about 300g. In excellent condition with just some wear from normal use on the portafilter holder. Bought for £1490, l am selling for £1200. I am based in Oxford and would prefer to sort collection rather than postage but I do have all the original packaging and could post as buyer's risk. Selling because I managed to get my hands on a Kafatek MC3.
  20. These have been well used but no longer needed as I only make one flat white at any one time. Asking price is £25 posted for the 50cl £30 posted for the 75cl
  21. 6 x Lelit Ancap espresso cups and saucers for sale. 2 for £15 + postage or £40 + postage for the lot. *Picture is for reference although they are pristine condition*
  22. Selling my Gaggia Classic due to a recent upgrade to a HX, had for around 4 years with light use and well looked after. No issues with limescale for water in Leeds is high quality. Machine is fully boxed with original baskets (pressurised) and unpressurised singe and double's. Also the plastic tamp (for what it's worth). Looking for £130 + postage or can arrange collection around Leeds/Darlington or in-between. I will get some pictures up shortly but in the meantime any questions please ask. Thanks
  23. I have a Gaggia Classic with upgraded goodies - rancilio steam wand and IMS shower screen and basket. I bought this from Mark about 9 months ago, so it had been fully refurbished by him. Since then I've really not used it an awful lot. When I have used it, I've used bottled Volvic about 80% of the time, the rest of the time it's used filtered tap water. I have used puly caff to descale once and I've cleaned regularly using cafiza powder. I've got plenty of both left and they will be included. I can ship this, but I'd much prefer collection or I will deliver within a reasonable range of Aylesbury (we can work that out if required). If required to ship, I can only really do this on weekends and will need you to bear with me while I get suitable packaging together. I'm asking for £140, which is less than I paid for it without the IMS upgrades and I believe to be a very fair price.
  24. Offering for sale (available from Sunday 19th) my Gaggia Classic fitted with Auber PID and a Mazzer Super Jolly. Gaggia. 2011 and I'm the 3rd owner. Originally purchased from here. Since I took ownership I have fitted the brass dispersion plate, a cafelat 8mm silicone group seal (this could probably use an 8.5mm if I'm honest however the portafilter locking at 5 o'clock never bothered me) and an IMS shower screen. This also has the Rancillio steam wand upgrade fitted by the 1st owner. I have the original shower screen but not the dispersion plate. Comes with the original portafilter handle and a blind, 2 x single, a double and a triple basket, and tamper (Shown in grinder pics) I purchased this for £180 and I'd like to see the same ONO considering the small upgrades I've added that made a good machine a bit better (in my view) The machine is in good nick, I have used mostly RO water with a little bicarb added, however on occasion it has had a tank of Bristol water through it. I've descaled it 4 times in 2 years using Puly descaler and backflushed using TannGo. Overall good condition but you must expect a few marks on the brushed steel casing - it is not "factory fresh" Mazzer. Mazzer Super Jolly timer model 2010, no hopper (lens hood included) and fitted with doser with a clean sweep mod. Burrs seem to be fine. I purchased this from Mr Shades a couple/three years ago and pretty much gave it a good clean, wipe down etc and put her straight into use. The plan was to refurbish and repaint, however I'm bone idle, have two kids and a house renovation that leaves me little time to indulge in hobbies or restoration projects. Grinds very well and the action is smooth to adjust. Not a lot else to say really except it's an SJ, and since I've owned it it's had maybe 250-500g a week put through it so still plenty of life I should think in the burrs. Bought for £180 and I would like to realise the same ONO as this also includes the grinds tray I recently bought from Mr Shades! Condition is overall good, however paint has a few dinks and chips as when I purchased it. I'm not going to post, however I live in Bristol and I'm willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet halfway (20 miles ish) to help someone who may be interested out. I'm open to do a deal on both - offers in the region of £320 OVNO as I think this a good price and starting point for someone just starting on their coffee journey. I'm also open to offers on each machine individually. Thanks for reading - any Q's please fire away, but please keep any negotiations on this thread. BT
  25. £250 Had a very easy life. Used as second grinder for my occasional filter drink. Previously bought off the forum and owned myself for around 3 years. Last year seen no use at all. Not pictured but also have large hopper at my parents house that I can post separately. Great condition. Ideally collected from London.
