    Default Boiler Insulation

Has anyone replaced the boiler insulation?
For me the ex factory insulation looks poor. The fixing is not well done. Too tight.
I want to use needle-felt or a felt made from sheep wool.
How do you think about it?

Any leaks or droplets from the anti-vac valve would be absorbed by these products.I think a more impervious material would be better.

I have nearly completed the boiler insulation with two layers industrial needle felt 5mm each. Wool insulation is not good because of the temperature.
the insulation will be fixed with stainless steel belts and than covered the an alloy foil.
