    Default should I buy DeLonghi EC702 ?

I have a limited budget and willing to buy EC702.
I was reading Reviews here: https://www.reviewsboy.com/best-espr...er-200-budget/
few people are saying it the best but on Amazon, there are many negative reviews as well
so my question here is, should I buy it? because I am a new and home user with a low budget.

So most of the Delonghi machines under $200 have the same internal components, which means the Bar32, EC155, EC220, etc. are basically the same machine for quite a bit less money. The EC702 will give you a slightly better steam wand, larger drip tray, and larger water reservoir though, which may be worth the extra cost to you. If not, then I would get the EC220cd if you can find it. It is around the same price as the EC155 and Bar21, but has greater cup clearance. It was my first machine. Note that out of the box, none of these machines will make a proper espresso. They are really only good for milk and sugar based drinks. If you want proper espresso, then will need at least a Gaggia Classic and quality grinder, e.g. Eureka Mignon.

If your on a very limit budget and one of the delonghi is the best you can afford then the delonghi EC146 would be worth looking at purely because it as an unpressurized portafilter and baskets, this is going to give you the best chance to get a decent tasting espresso from one of those lower end machines. However what you will have to factor in is a decent burr grinder, you cant use pre-ground supermarket coffee with unpressurized baskets. If you don't already have a grinder and cant afford to get one just yet make sure to get a machine with pressurized baskets or double walled as they are sometimes called also as you can use pre-ground coffee with those baskets, however it doesn't taste great.

Although I will be honest with you personally I wouldn't buy another delonghI machine, If it was the best I could afford at the time, I would save for abit longer until I get something better, The sage duo temp pro is a fanastic wee machine, Have a look in the for sale section on here I think there was sage dup temp pro for sale at a reasonable price, and maybe it might still be on offer in john lewis for £230. Consider second hand, or consider waiting and saving for something better, or get the delonghi up to you.
