Hi all just joined looking for some advice.recently bought my second hand 2007 classic.. coffee is fine now I’ve descaled but milk takes forever to heat with frother wand. As I like a milky latte or cappuccino is a real pain, tried purging and Descaler through wand with water and steam but still

The best Gaggias for frothing are the ones with the 1425W boilers. Gaggia dropped the wattage in later production. I have a 2011 Romanian Classic and a 2005 Baby, 1425W, and the Baby froths faster. Look underneath and it should give you the wattage of your model. If it's 1425W you won't get to froth any faster. I assume you're leaving enough time for the temperature to rise. If you froth after brewing you need to give it a good few minutes.

How much milk are you trying to steam at one time?
