Default 'Too short' word limit on searches on the forum...

Is there any way around this? I can understand it for common words like 'it' or 'the' but when searching for an acronym like 'ECM' for example the search becomes useless as it wont let you do it.

    Can it be circumvented?

We use a 3rd party app called Threadloom (as it is far better than the standard search function) and there is a minimum character limit that we cannot amend

A workaround might be to search on google instead with the words 'coffee forum' at the start of the search, but I'm not suggesting this is ideal. (I always use google because my browser doesn't seem to cope with forum searches for some reason.)

Include the argument site:coffeeforums.co.uk (or indeed any other site) in your search (direct in your favourite search engine)........

If you want to experiment you can use ands and ors etc
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Manic Obsession"
