Yep - no service. I have just used it with a salt-based softener on my water system and it has been perfect for me. As my post above mentions, it's done tiny volume (let's estimate 1,500 shots in its entire lifetime - what's that in duration terms if it had been used in a commercial environment - a week?!). Just to be super clear, I am not selling because it is in any way broken or failing to perform; I just fancy a change of machine. But understood if the no-service thing puts people off - each to their own. Cheers.

When plumbed in, the water came via my softener.
  6. For sale: £3,500. In perfect working order. It was bought by me brand new 3 years ago and it has been used at home making, on average, 10 drinks per week. My home water is run through a softener. It comes with three official La Marzocco portafilters (one naked, one single spout and one double spout) together with an assortment of original baskets that were included when I bought it. It also comes with the original manual. I have used it plumbed in for the past few months but it also comes with the original water tank (note there is a small crack on the top of the
  7. Thanks for the replies. It lives in the South East in a hard water area but I have a good softener system. It's not been serviced but it has been well looked after, cleaned regularly and - in fairness - it's only made about 10 shots per week. Thanks again. I expect I will list this item in a few weeks.
  8. Hi - I am thinking of selling my 3 year old LM GS3 AV. Any idea what it would be worth second hand? It is in very good condition, having been used for home use only. They appear to sell for £5,300 these days when brand new in the UK. Thanks.
  9. Sorry - no. I have come down quite a bit from my initial ask to £270 and I don't want to go to £250. Would prefer to hang on to it at that price. Thanks.
  10. Yes, it's still here, boxed and waiting for a new home. Same terms as above - £270 for roaster with large chaff collector, some spare greens from HasBean and some black coffee bags. Collection in person near Brentwood in Essex. Cheers.
