  1. Sorry this is a bit of a necro post. iJim, how are you getting on with your PID. I'm at a point where I want to install this in my Silvia. I just need to order the parts. What psu did you use inside your machine? Thanks.
  2. Item arrived as described, thanks @Bainbridge. Now I just need to work out how to dial it in!
  3. Awesome, thanks iJim, that's brilliant. I'm happy to have a go at surface mount soldering, done it quite a bit previously. I'll send you a PM with my details.
  4. Hi, would you post to Loughborough for £85?
  5. This is a cool project. I'm looking to do something similar with mine. I could be in the market for one of your spare boards!
  6. I'd definitely be interested in the Feld2 if the price is right.
  7. Well now you guys are making it hard for me! I'll keep an eye open for the for sale posts I guess. I had been looking quite seriously at the JX Pro.
  8. I don't mind hand grinding, so yes I may be interested in either of them, assuming they are suitable for espresso grind.
  9. OK, I think I'll leave it for now, but thanks for the offer.
  10. Thanks for the offer, let me go and do some research to make sure it's what I'm after. No issues waiting if it is suitable for me.
  11. I need a grinder to match my Rancilio Silvia. My buy it new option is a 1zpresso jx Pro, but if someone has something second for a bit less I'm open to options.
  12. So I have a new machine! Got a Rancilio Silvia from the for sale section. Now I need to learn how to use it properly. Any good recommendations for guides on getting the most out of these machines? My birthday is in April and I'd like a grinder then. I can't afford £300+, but may be able to stretch to a 1zpresso jx Pro. Any other grinders around 150 to look at?
  13. Thanks guys, I have agreed to the sale of a Silvia on this forum. Once I've picked that up the fun begins!
