  1. The G-IOTA is so popular because it is so inexpensive for the grind quality and flexibility (with SSP burrs) it delivers. I guess it would not be so popular if it would be sold in the price range of the Lagom.
  2. You're wrong. I am interested in this machine. I really like what the guys are doing. But I do not like the price. And that is my opinion. If the machine would be based on something like the Quickmill Silvano, then I would find the price acceptable. I do not want to argue anymore. I understand your point. I just wanted to share the source of the base machine.
  3. I think 1000€ as retail price would be more acceptable. Just wanted to let Users know what they buy. They can calculate themselves if this offer is really a bargain or not.
  4. Hey guys, just wanted to make you aware that the Base machine which Kafmasino is selling is not self-developed but a generic chinese machine selling below 250€ for resellers: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Dual-boiler-15-BAR-espresso-coffee_1600232225087.html I actually like what the two guys are doing. But I do not like that price policy.
  5. Concerning color options, the producer seems to have a very big palette of possible colors for the grinder. The question is more which color the reseller wants to sell. https://german.alibaba.com/product-detail/2021-most-popular-household-espresso-coffee-grinder-titanium-64mm-burr-small-coffee-grinder-df64-1600200065632.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.normal_offer.d_title.55e2540c8Y9rqU I am eagerly waiting for this grinder to pop up on Aliexpress. That will bring the price down. I remember the initial prices on Alibaba (140 Pounds above 30 Units), it seems they had to bring t
  6. Just wanted to add that the cost for the grinder goes down to 140 pounds plus tax if a reseller orders at least 30 units: https://m.alibaba.com/product/1600200242614/2021-Most-Popular-Low-Retention-Household.html?__detailProductImg=https%3A%2F%2Fs.alicdn.com%2F%40sc01%2Fkf%2FH9db1dc071b8340e0ad3318f3c3858278o.jpg_200x200.jpg For around 230 pound that would be very good machine I guess.
  7. Yes, I know. But still, if you buy a generic air-fryer with halogen heating lamp with drum the chances might be good that you have a similar PCB that allows you to use the same mod which I did. Just wanted to add this.
  8. You could try to open the case and take a picture of the PCB and post it. There's a good chance that it is the same as in the Klarstein. Then you could do the same mod with your air Fryer.

  10. Dear CFUK members, This is a post which I have already posted on Home-Barista.com. There has not been much interest on the US site for this Mod, maybe because this type of air Fryer is not available. Maybe this is of interest for some of you. I think the Klarstein Vitair can be purchased in GB. "I invested a lot of time and effort in the last few weeks to film a video tutorial showing in detail the modification of an inexpensive Air Fryer with a drum into an Artisan-controlled Coffee roaster. I filmed this in german as it was for the mostly german community of kaffee-netz.de (unf
