  1. I have a perfetto (50mm burrs) and it takes 13 seconds for 18gr, lighter roast. Maybe 11/12 with darker beans have you tried with other beans as well?
  2. I have been following it for a while now - a Belgium retailer has opened pre-orders last month and I am very tempted: 399 euro with standard burrs and 659 with SSP burrs. For Europeans this is cheaper than a Niche Zero, which sells for 750 euro (including VAT and other fees). With the difference that the Niche has been around for a while and it's tested and proven, but that's another story ๐Ÿ™‚ The first batch will be shipped mid march, so hopefully we'll get more info and reviews
  3. Very weird...how much milk did you steam this time? 350ml? Maybe it could be worth recording a video when you have time, so we can see the problem. I would also suggest to open a ticket on Lelit Care and attach the video in question. They are very responsive Hopefully more experienced users can help you, I am out of ideas ๐Ÿ˜…
  4. Same thing for me -- just steamed 250 ml or maybe a bit more, started at 139 ended at 129 in around 40 seconds
  5. Thatโ€™s bizarre. I am not a steaming expert by any chance, but I usually steam 290ml for two cappuccino at 9 am and other two for lunch time, no issues whatsoever. ๐Ÿค” I think Dave has also uploaded a video some time ago where he was steaming for 3 minutes straight before it started dying away At what temperature have you set up your machine?
  6. Concerning the solenoid issue I had last week, Lelit after watching the video confirmed that most likely something was blocking the valve and causing the issue. So thanks a lot to everyone for understanding the issue and helping me! They also say that if the machine doesn't respond properly I would need to replace that part. However so far everything is working fine, I hope it continues like this However I was wondering, let's imagine that maybe some debris is still stuck in the solenoid, would this cause any issue to the machine? Can something 'break' or is it ok to use?
  7. My machine has factory setting of 9 bars, therefore when i use the blind filter it stops there. For the manual back-flush, I have the same thing....maybe it's what Inspector said and the 6 seconds flush is not enough to fill the blind basket. I am not sure. What I do instead is using Button 1 alone, I wait until pressure goes to 9 bars (i think it takes 10 seconds?), then stop it and let it sit for 30 sec. And then start again following Dave's recommendations.
  8. Hello! I did another chemical backflush this morning and the machine sounded ok for the whole duration. also normal brewing with or without preinfusion sounds ok. bizzare ๐Ÿค” I let you know if Lelit says something else, but for the time being everything seems to be working! thanks for the help everybody!
  9. Thank you again! the sound from that video is exactly the same as mine - I suppose same problem. I will do some more backflush tomorrow and hopefully the issue fixes itself. in the meantime I have written Lelit and the seller, maybe they have other recommendations as well
  10. to give some extra info it has been on since 1 pm and I have used it for maybe 8 espresso and a bunch of cappuccino (trying new beans, i don't drink that much!). No weird noises before the backflush, which i have done using Lelit method (button1+water tap) edit. i apologize for the potato quality video I have opened up the machine, just to check if there was something obvious to 'fix' - haven't done anything besides touching here and there. the noise seems to have disappeared, but i still have no clue where it came from ๐Ÿ˜’ edit2: I tried again and after pressing
  11. Hi! My machine started acting up today. after doing a chemical back flush, it started making weird noises when brewing. See video: the first shot was button 1, no preinfusion. Second shot has preinfusion set-up. any idea?
  12. Same thing for me. I try to not tighten too much - if I am not mistaken another Elizabeth owner had steaming issues because he was tightening the valve too much. Since then I am scared of breaking it ๐Ÿ˜… Usually if there is still same steam coming out I close it a bit further, until it stops. I do see water drops every now and then though, but I am assuming is normal since the valve is not fully closed
  13. Hi! Quick question, do you guys use any solution like Puly Milk for the steam wand? I wipe and purge regularly after every steaming session, but I am not sure if thatโ€™s enough to keep the wand and tip clean. Thanks!
  14. I was asking about the 55. I guess the same will apply to the 65
