Couldn’t resist this pic. The standard view whenever we try and eat in our house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Wow, makes my 2 loafs a week feel a feeble attempt. Can’t wait to see the results. Wish you all the success in the world if you were to open a micro bakery.
  4. What do you all use to store your flour, my 16kg bag arrived and trying to think best way to store it
  5. 2 loafs this morning, finally got some bannetons and a sharp blade. Thinking of the challenger bread pan to make them in as my dish is a bit small for these even at 750g. Still @ 72-74% hydration made with wholewheat, rye and white. Waiting on them cooling to cut in is always the hardest part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Today’s loafs, please note already eaten half of the first one already. Delicious Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Needing to renew my flour stock, what’s people’s thoughts on Matthew’s Churchill flour? I normally use their Strong white, whole meal and rye for my loafs but was curious about this flour. Thoughts and experiences? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Got into bread making and sourdough during lockdown ( like the rest of the UK by the looks of it). Made loads of normal yeasted loafs, around 6 sourdough loafs, bagels, rolls and a few pizza bases thus far and keeping my loaf hydration manageable at 72-74% Loving it and love reading this thread to catch up. 9. So had this for a month now and loving it more and more although I am now using a LOT more coffee beans, almost 3kg a month now I think....... god is that normal? Looking to the future and looking to change the joysticks and e61 lever to wood and wooden handled portafilter but no idea where to get some. Anyone know where ya can find these? 11. Ok moving to PM to finalise deal Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Yes the machine is a v3 and the group seal, although sealing with no problems, could be doing with replacing. Unsure at costs, it’s been a few years since I last replaced it, but they are not expensive and literally seconds to replace.
  13. I personally think £150 is already a very fair price inc the tamper. If your still interested we could arrange a time/date that suits. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Comes with single and double basket, never even used these as I used a VST from day one with this machine. The only accessory I could throw in would be the tamper I also have for sale further down. More than happy to demo machine operating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hidden Figures was a great watch, I do wonder how Hollywoodified this was though. Definitely worth watching regardless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
