  1. View Advert Modded Gaggia Classic (2012) with PID Hi everyone, Finally treated myself to a Lelit MaraX so I'm now looking to sell my first machine. I actually bought this machine about a year ago on this post here: Since I bought this machine, I've replaced the gasket and shower screen. I've descaled twice in the last year. I have regularly unscrewed the shower screen to clean the grouphead/dispersion block and the shower screen (around twice a week) as well as a backflush afterwards. I also cleaned the water tank once a week. I would make coffe

Hi everyone, Finally treated myself to a Lelit MaraX so I'm now looking to sell my first machine. I would make coffee around once a day, twice on weekends. I live in Old Kilpatrick which is a soft water area (you can check here https://www.scottishwater.co.uk/your-home/your-water/water-quality/water-quality ) so I've been using tap water. You can also take all the accessories and spare parts that I got from when I bought it last year. The only thing I don't have anymore to pass on is the knockbox as I didn't have space for it and didn't want to keep it lying around. Mods: PID Brass Dispersion Block Rancillio Steam Wand 9 bar OPV Mod Accessories: DIY Naked Portafilter* Fracino Cups and Saucers set* Double Basket* Blind Basket* Plastic Scoop* Plastic Tamper* Motta Tamper It's also worth highlighting something that was brought up in the first post and that was to not fully unscrew the steam valve. What this meant was that you shouldn't really keep turning it. Though to be fair, even if you turn it like 180 degrees, you have enough pressure coming out to steam the milk so overall it wasn't a problem at all. There are a few very minor cosmetic scratches but apart from that, it's in perfect working condition. It was really a great first machine and I'm proud of what I've been able to make with it. Hopefully someone else can make good use of it. Ideally looking for collection or delivery within a reasonable distance of Glasgow. I still have the original box but it's seen better days and with the PID on the side, the box doesn't actually fit the machine anymore and I don't want to risk damaging the machine. * Pictured in referenced post

  3. I thought it was about the MaraX rather than the Bianca, though someone did reply saying they did it for their Bianca. Thank you for getting back to me though. Looking forward to getting the plug.
  4. Did you have to send it back or was it okay? I just got my MaraX and would also like to fit the machine closer to the wall.
  5. May I ask how old is it? Curious about the price because I see new ones being sold for nearly twice as more at some places though I do see coffeeitalia selling it for £1270
  6. It seems like you need to do 5 posts to even comment in sale/wanted topics too now? Unless that's what people meant to post to buy?
  7. Sorry made a mistake, all yours Bacms
  8. I'd be happy to buy them if you could post!

Looks like a great deal! Wish I was looking to buy just now!
  10. I'd be interested in just the slim drip tray + new outlet tube if you are willing to sell separately
  11. Thanks Agentb for the reply, while waiting for a reply, I ended up takinh out the shower screen and group head again, noticed some white stuff that maybe came from descaling and cleaned it out and put it back in and this seems to have fixed the issue. Later on I may test how much is coming out though.
  12. Hi everyone, After recently cleaning the system I've ran into a few issues. The first one was water wasn't coming out which I fixed with a bit of descaler and agitating the solenoid through flipping the steam switch quite a bit with the steam wand open and the brew on. But I've ran into a new issue as shown in the picture. The showerscreen is clean (recently cleaned it when I was checking whether that was the cause of the former issue) and I also unscrewed the grouphead and cleaned that out too. I've just tried experimenting with the tightness of the showerscreen but thats not
  13. No, don't have the time to try and package it to send it down and pay for it.
  14. You or I paying for delivery?
  15. Hey after buying this I very soon upgraded to a Eureka Mignon since the KG79 isn't really known for being a capable espresso grinder but it did me pretty well for moka pot and would do the job for courser grinds too. I did break the flap on the container where the grinds go in but fixed it with a bit of super glue. Apart from that, it's in perfect working condition. (I have already threw away the box though). Looking for £20 collection, Glasgow.
