  1. Hi, does anyone know exactly which Rockets have these ceramic mushrooms? Or more specifically, I have a giotto Evoluzione Version 2 (the one with rotary pump and black dual dials). Does anyone have it and can confirm whether it has the ceramic version or not? I want to open and clean it, but I am worried that I am going to break it. Further question: In case it is a ceramic one, would it make sense to open up first only the top nut (the gicleur chamber nut) and pour some citric acid in there to unlock it if the mushroom is stuck, rather than try to open the mushroom nut directly? thanks for he
  2. Can I bump this again, the two people interested did not take it. Get yourself an amzaing project for no money
  3. I did not want to buy something but to sell. Selling is a service to the forum. I wanted to sell to the forum, because I thought my old wreck would find a caring owner here, rather than on ebay. If the forum prefers that I go to ebay, so be it.
  4. exactly, thats my point. the rule produces spam, and whether I produce that spam faster or slower really doesnt matter, and shouldnt matter for anyone on the forum to judge those who produce the spam. They only produce it because of the rule. Those who object to the spam should object to the rule makers, not the spam makers.
  5. Hi, I am near Angel/Essex road. you can see photos here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/dyHHxrvtZZ7on4jk6 The colour is slightly darker, more mustardy. note that the dirt on the body is just old tape that I never bothered to remove, but should be easy to do. The slit that you can see on the left side of the body is where a lever used to be. If you pulled the lever down, it would wipe off the coffee coming out the of the mill. It was damaged once during transport, but it is not needed at all. You could also make one from a different material and attach it to t
  6. yes, will post photos later tonight, or tommorrow.
  7. I am not interested in buying, as you can see I am trying to sell, and not even trying to make really money out of it. You are assuming the worst, instead of assuming the best of people. It is just tedious to need to post 5 times.
  8. Hi all, I am selling a Quickmill body for parts. I am not really interested in money, just looking for someone who needs either replacement parts or wants to do a project. I am the proud owner of a very old quickmill 0825 (mine is labelled menatec, but it is exactly the same model). These are now sold as Quickmill retro, except the 0825 has dials at the front for the amount of coffee the grinder produces and pump pressure. I bought mine ca 1995 in a junk store in Switzerland for 20 GBP and have used it daily since then (I moved to London meanwhile, hence why I post here). I suppose it was
  9. poem or Haiku? I post therefore I post
  10. I can even post better posts without sending post. Where does the forum want spamming. here, there or everywhere?
  11. yey, posting and posting to get past the 5 post rule. I am a poster I am a postman
  12. I lurked for a week or so, needing a new espreso machine after my more than 40 years old Quickmill retro fell apart for good. (well, this is how they are called now, I have the one that was not yet called retro, but was modern when they built it)
