  3. Thanks Joseph, yes that's where I will be purchasing a machine from. I no nothing about non compression valves so thanks for that. Im looking for a machine that will last a long time so all the little bits that I know nothing about will help me decide, I also like what you have with the shot timer built in, so do the non compression valves make a difference? 4. Hi, I’m a newbie here and was directed here by google on the search for my new machine. I currently have a barista express, it’s been a good machine with the right coffee but now I think I’m ready to learn more! I drink americano, flat whites and cappuccinos, milk based drinks take forever now it seems on my current machine. The machine that has caught my eye is the rocket Appartamento, price is perfect for me and I think it looks fantastic. Now the more I read on machines and learn more I have also took a liking to the profitec pro 500, more expensive but the boiler is insulated. Will this help the longevity off the machine? The Appartamento boiler isn’t insulated and would it make much difference? Also I think the profitec has a rotary pump so won’t be so loud. Will the Appartamento suit my needs? I drink 2-3 cups a day and my daughter likes hot chocolate that I make using the barista express. Would love some help in deciding from you. Jay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have just subscribed to dig&hat using the twenty code[emoji106] two bags a month but I also subbed to the roastery for another bag every fortnight[emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Would this grinder be ok for a beginner? I’m coming from a barista express and have only ever used a grinder that’s built in with the machine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Google, I was searching info for my next machine[emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks ArisP I very rarely drink expresso, I prefer milk based drinks but the last year I think I have been drinking americano more and more as it was taking so long to make a milk based coffee on my machine. Why would that make a difference on what machine to go for? I thought I could steam milk and pull a shot at the same time with a rocket or profitec? Obviously I have lots to learn[emoji106] Jay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hi all, Found this forum from searching info for a new machine. I have been enjoying coffee since 2013 when I visited Majorca on a cycling holiday and came back and purchased a Nespresso machine. I enjoyed there coffee for a few years then realised I was spending a fortune on the pods. I then purchased a sage barista express. Struggled getting good coffee for a while using supermarket beans then found out about fresh coffee beans online, I reckon it took me a good year to start producing nice coffee from that machine. I probably don’t get the perfect shot from it now. I’m ready to upgrade now and a little lost on what to go for, the one machine that has caught my eye is the Rocket Appartamento, the price is perfect for my budget but then I see videos on the Profitec Pro 500 with PID. Hopefully I can find what I’m looking for on here[emoji106] Jay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
