  2. It looks like an updated version of the one that I have been using for 6 years and that hasn’t skipped a beat. That said, I use it for weighing my griund coffee dose only, not the espresso output. Mine seems a bit slow to respond to weight changes, so I would have to cut the shot while the display still shows a gram or so short of the target value. They may have improved on that, but I guess that is why the Acacia Lunar has a following, despite its price tag. Myself, I mostly brew by eyeballing and timing the shot, not by output weight. 3. ECM S-64 Manuale should be a decent grinder without a timer. Not sure about retention / exchange though. Myself I came from a Macap M2M and have been using a K3 Touch for the better part of last 4 years. Like you I never use the timer function. I grind into a small plastic cup by weight, use a funnel to pour into the PF, WDT the grounds, tap to settle, tamp and go. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk

  6. Very nice, that Hungarian design ! BTW Not the best latte art in the world, but this is what tbe boerenbont cups look like up close. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
  7. What I have is a grabbag of several sets of porcelain cups; and one always develops a preference for one or two. The motif you see on the white cups on the right is a classic Dutch country style called “boerenbont” (I won’t try to translate fully, but “boer” means “farmer”). I have a brother and sister-inlaw in Southampton who have collected quite a lot of it as saucers, plates etc. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk

  9. Hi Holger, how about NL? I understand you did a demo at Bianco Nero in Den Haag in September, at which time I happened to be on vacation in (oh irony) Germany ? Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
