Hi everyone I am looking at a Sage duel boiler machine. 5 years old, well looked after, asking £500. What do you think? Would I be better off spending a bit more on another brand of machine. I have seen so many mixed reviews on the Sage machines. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Hi everyone I have a limited budget and want to replace the Francino machine that has died. I had a Gaggia Classic prior to this but would I be right in thinking a Rancilio Silvia would be a step up from the classic? I only make a few drinks a day, a mixture of milk based and espresso shots. Thanks.

Hi Ash1973 don't know about coffee shop equipment but I have a Francino Little Gem machine that has died on me again. I wouldn't bother personally with this make of machine. I have to say it made great coffee and steamed milk at the same time. It has the one boiler but is a heat exchanger. Good luck to your wife and her enterprise.

Hi everyone tried cleaning probes but still no use. The tank empty light remains on and the machine won't fire up. Is it time to ditch this machine and start again? Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi there the little gem machine is great but once again it has developed the same fault. The red tank empty light is on and the machine won't fire up. I've only used bottle water and this time, as before, I have cleaned the probes on the tank and boiler but to no effect. I am wondering if this is a common fault and would I be prudent to just bin this thing and move on? Cheers.
