  1. Thats upto you and how much you d like to spend. Sage will ask you to contact Coffee Classics their approved repair company. You could try to source a new solanoid and pump and fit them yourself and take a chance. They will prob cost 45 to 50 pounds to buy. Pumps are easy to get off ebay. Solenoids a bit trickier. 2. Its likely it is an issue with the solanoid. However it is not clear what you mean by no noise. You mean the pump isn't engaging for espresso or it is but nothing is coming out? Possible that both the pump and solanoid need replacing. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. @davecuk are you going to reserve verdict as to the quality of the espresso from these roasts until the end or you will give some views along the way? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. Wondering if anyone has La Cimbali or DRM hybrid grinder knocking about. Curious as to the flavour profile it produces. Also curious if anyone has the discontinued handheld Helor Flex that takes the Robur 71mm burrs. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. - the grinder and brew group are the same - the heat up time is rapid on the Touch and the steam is much more powerful - the Touch has 9 bar OPV - the Express has the pressure gauge and you can play with pre-infusion time So the main advantage of the Touch is stronger steam and 9 bar pressure but you lose control over pre-infusion and the gauge. Not much of a upgrade. A Barista Pro or Dual Boiler would be a better upgrade. My personal opinion is to try to come off the sage grinders. Their quality is v poor. 6. Hi I need one. I can collect as i live not far away. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. I bought it faulty. So basically the nut is what keeps it in place only. So try to source one before testing? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. Just refurbing this MC7. The top nut is missing but the lower burr carrier is fixed solid. Looks safe to run or i shouldn't as it will come loose once spinning? In other words is the burr carrier secured with the missing nut or additional screws underneath? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

It is boiled along the same lines as Turkish coffee but for considerably longer ...i think 10 to 15 mins. Not sure about grind size but I'd guess a turkish grind as the coffee needs to settle following brewing. They recommend a number of fragrant spices but i believe cardamom as almost a must. Sorry I've tasted it but never made it. Its very mild and subtle in taste. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
