    Any Gamers?

I'm still working my way through a load of ps4 games that I bought on sale but never played [emoji23]. I never find the time these days to just sit and play, though I made an exception for the last of us 2! I'll definitely be purchasing the ps5 but it won't be any time soon...... Maybe they'll have some great black Friday deals next year Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  3. I had to grind coarser than before to get the best out of this. Im not a huge fan of coffees towards the fruitier, acidic end of the spectrum, but this is nice. Not a patch on the mk12 imo though.... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  4. 30% OFF 1KG BAGS OF CAST IRON ENTER CASTIRON30 AT CHECKOUT 19 quid delivered for a kg of one of my favourite blends! Great offer. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  5. Just goes to show how different everyone's taste buds can be. It always makes it difficult to recommend a bean that you like. Definitely not getting choc notes off this yet but may do when it calms down a bit. I loved the mk12 especially the second version of it and I considered that to be a huge choco blend..... Either way this is looking promising Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  6. I opened mine today so only 5 days past roast... Think it needs a few more as it's still on the acidic side, but it wasn't unpleasant. Deffo more fruity than the 12, quite sweet caramel notes. Should be really nice with a bit more rest Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  7. Only just got mine today so will need a rest. They've got a tough act to follow.... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  8. tbf it wouldnt be much of a mystery then.... He does sell it phenomenally cheap you cant really lose. Even the ones I havent got on with have still been top quality coffee
  9. Now in stock!!! https://www.coffeecompass.co.uk/collections/espresso-range/products/mystery-coffee-mark-13-1kg I loved the mk12 (both versions) so 13 has a tough act to follow
  10. I've had the same recent issues with Tapatalk not letting me log on, meaning I haven't been able to check in on the forum as I only use Tapatalk (more convenient for me on mobile). I'm posting this on the website....
  11. Compass mystery blend mk12, compass rancheros blend, compass mahogany roast jampit hit..... Basically anything by compass is usually a darker roast and therefore has big choc notes Also don't confuse choc notes with out and out sweetness. I like a dark chocolate taste without being syrupy sweet. Some coffee can be overbearingly sweet. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  12. Kilo of mystery mk12 and some Monsoon Malabar Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  13. My brew switch has completely gone so I'm watching this thread with interest. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  14. Pact coffee with a cycling related theme.... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  15. the last of my kilos worth of Cast Iron from Extract :( its been so good, syrupy sweet and chocolatey and extremely forgiving of my poor and inconsistent technique...........ill prob buy another kilo
  16. After a disappointing offering from dark arts, I am thoroughly enjoying Extract roasters cast iron blend... Hitting the notes of cocoa and cherry perfectly, really tasty as espresso
  17. I know a fair few people who have e mountain bikes and love em......looks like you're after a hybrid commuter bike though Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  18. Cheers guys hadn't realised you could add paper/cardboard material.... Will try that. I try not to add too much grass clippings as I'm aware that's not great, but at this time of year it gets more than usual un less I can get to the tip, which is now a booking system weeks in advance Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  19. Looks like an industrial circuit breaker...... When you throw it does someone somewhere get electrocuted Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  20. I put all our grounds in the compost..... I never know when the compost is ready tho, been adding material for about 2years but it always looks a bit sludgy/soily rather than the soft fluffy compost you get from the garden center Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  21. Same with my cast iron. Yeh it's longer than usual, but as I tend to rest my beans for 7-10 days before use or freezing it didn't bother me. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  22. Ha I've been thinking this for ages mate. I love to live in ignorance and enjoy my silly coffee hobby with like minded people. Focussing on the beans, machines, gadgets and techniques to make great coffee is what I came here for. And I like to imagine everyone is the same. I don't want to find out that people I admire for their coffee prowess are bigots, racists, misogynists or even cyclist haters..... But that's what is happening by having an off topic forum. I think it's ok when it's not used for ranting or political talk or anything potentially devisive like that, but more often than not it is. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  23. The flaring is caused by the ferrules. It's not something you need to create yourself. If you have a problem of leaking from a refitted ferrule then you should cut the plastic pipe back square to a non flared bit...then refit Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  24. Kilo of extract beans Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  25. Fyi this code is still active but ends Friday....... Just picked up some cast iron for 16 quid delivered Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
