  1. La Pavoni Europiccola View Advert Up for sale is my La Pavoni Europiccola. It was made in March 1995 which makes it a Pre-millenium model with twin switches and two elements. It is in very good condition both inside and out and has been making great shots this weekend! On Friday night I rebuilt the group head and undertook the following: Group head dismantled, cleaned, greased with Molykote grease and reassembled with new seals, including silicone piston seals. Boiler descaled, new steam valve and boiler lid/cap seals fitted. The chrome is in great condition and the base is unmarked - including under the drip tray (common area for rust to develop on these machines). The lever has some pitting to the chrome but other than that it is in exceptional condition for its age! Double (14g) basket included - I may have a single which I will include (if I can find it!) £350 collected from South Oxfordshire. I can post for approximately £25 via Parcelforce on a 48 hour service. Pictures to follow! Advertiser MartinB Date 24/10/21 Price £350 Category £100 - £600

  10. Hand grinder for pourover ~ £100 View Advert As per above - let me know what you have. Advertiser MartinB Date 27/09/21 Price Category Wanted
  11. Just seen via their website... Grab them whilst you can 😂
  12. And it's a shame as I really enjoyed the output of the Barista Express that I had (when coupled with a Mazzer!)
  13. It's so un-environmentally friendly as well. Sage would rather have a machine scrapped and replaced with another lump of plastic than provide easy access to spare parts. I was horrified when I realised the water pipe elbows in the BE are made of plastic. I thought designing in weak points and planned obsolesence was a thing of the past in some cases!
  14. Coffee classics are just as bad!! They wanted £94 as a service charge to change the upper burr which is literally a 5 second job and all is needed is a thumb and forefinger. Absolutely pathetic.
  15. Don't expect Sage to be helpful in the slightest. They couldn't give me a lead time for the upper burr when I was in need. Absolutely shambolic!
  16. There are some good FB groups which may help - notably the Breville Owners group, which has useful information in it (These machines are made by Breville)
  17. 1Zpresso hand grinder - JX or JX Pro View Advert Anyone got one they may part with? Thanks! Advertiser MartinB Date 22/08/21 Price Category Wanted
  18. Hi all, Looking for recommendations for a hand grinder that is compact, consistent and ideal to be paired with a V60. Last time we went away in the UK I ended up taking my Mazzer Mini (!!) and I can't do that again. I've previously had a Hario Skerton and Hario slim but found these to be pretty sub-standard. I'm open to second-hand if it means I can get something better and closer to my price range. Thoughts and input appreciated
  19. That doesn't surprise me - their customer service is absolutely shocking!
  20. Just to follow up on this one - it sold for just under £300 on eBay. Hope this can be used as an indicator, although prices fluctuate permanently, granted!

  23. If it is the millennium model then the opv and solenoid will be the same as the Classic.
  24. Ah, it appears that the reference to 91 isn't in relation to the year of design/manufacture. Perhaps £150 would be a better deal!
