  1. Thanks Jony, Anything in particular, you would suggest? I'm after a machine for life. Ewan
  2. Hi all, Excited and sad here. Sad, that my current Expobar Brewtus blew up recently. I had it for over 7 years and was enjoying coffee everyday. But also excited, because it is a great excuse to really make the next big step and buy a La Marzocco Linea Mini... The machine for life! (i hope) Are there any existing owners who could point me in the direction of a good buying experience, please? Anything I should be aware of / look out for, especially? Any excellent shops to aim for? Thanks in advance, Ewan
  3. Hi @Paulmgreen did you ever manage to solve this issue? I just replied to another thread about Wilfa svart grinders, because I have exactly the same issue with mine! Very keen to find a repairer / method to repair myself. I got as far as buying the attachment triangular Allen key to start taking it apart, but that's as far as I got. Ewan
  4. I can also recommend the Wilfa Svart. Great product, does a really good job for everything except the espresso grind. (for espresso grind I use a Mazzer Mini E). I have a quick question though - does anyone know where I might get my Wilfa Svart repaired? The timer function is faulty. Thanks in advance, Ewan
  5. Hello @CageyH 'Fraid I don't have much to add in terms of your question... I have a Mazzer Super Jolly which i love, but I always wanted the Mini E ... Are you thinking of selling your mazzer mini E, by any chance? Please say yes?!! I would love to pick one up from a careful owner Ewan
  6. Hi @FilipK, a quick google shows this: http://www.parcelflight.co.uk/Yourquote.aspx?PrId=4526468c-9787-470c-bc30-44c36a8f0566 With Insurance up to £500, which would cover all eventualities. E
  7. Hi @mdizzle1 Good question... Hackney, London. Ewan
  8. Hello all, Following a successful upgrade (through this very forum... Thanks @kikapu) due to upgradeitus, I have been told by my girlfriend that I have to let this one go. Bought brand new from MyEspresso in January 2016 is this lovely Rancilio Silvia. Extras include: naked portafilter, blind basket, single and double basket, and i'm super sorry to say a few marks on the Rancilio portafilter (in picture as accurately shown as possible). In no way do the marks change anything other than my feeling bad that it is not absolutely perfect. Now, having never sold anything on this forum, i opened up to others for valuation and have settled on £235. (the full discussion can be viewed on the forum, of course) Pick-up collection would be preferred, but of course happy to post at buyers expense. The machine works perfectly. I imagine it is still under warranty being under 1 year old. This machine has seen nothing but careful filtered water and been cleaned / backflushed regularly. Only reason for sale is upgradeitus. Cheers, Ewan
  9. Lovely, can i buy 7 or 8 please?
  10. Thank you all, much appreciated. ... In no particular order: 1) If I had the opportunity to get this for £250 instead of new, I certainly would have done. But I was being spoiled by a loved one and I specifically asked for this machine. 2) The only reason I upgraded was an acute case of upgradeitus. 3) No Fracino, i'm afraid... I moved to a mazzer sj from another friendly forum member and i'm so happy with this. 3) Would prefer pick-up rather than posting because of the chance of damage in transit and also i don't have the box anymore (challenges of being an organised / tidy person!). But of course will post if i can find somewhere that insures it... that way nobody loses. And finally 4) I had a Gaggia Classic before the Rancilio, and i saw Miss Silvia as a move up... I know not all agree with this, just a personal view. For my money the Rancilio is a better beast in all aspects, but we should leave that discussion to another forum section:) ... I would love to get £250, but the small damage to the portafilter makes me feel bad. I will plump for £235 and put up for sale super soon:)
