  1. Dialled in even further with a 83mm flat then used a pav with pressure profile kit at max 6bar extraction, tropical sweet (cinder toffee) funk as well - very rewarding - still need to pay around with grind a bit but this coffee is top draw comparable with some of Rave and Origins most expensive beans, enjoying this greatly
  2. Second day of these in a espresso based white, at the moment I'm getting some realy tropical notes and some funk, really interested to see what they are but definatly shaping up to be an outstanding coffee once dialed in, im going very fine on a large flat grinder to get the best out of these, im wondering if they have been fermented a little, I should say that I live about a mile from Django so may do a drive past and look for sacks or is that cheating?
  3. About a week into these and the flavours have settled with a consistent quality that has improved each day as the week has gone on, if yours are still under a pile of Xmas crap in the back of your posties van hes been doing you a favour. Still only making espresso based drinks with these on a pav at a 1:2ratio but they are turning out with well rounded flavours in the cup, no funk at all for me at any stage, choc, fruit, wet labrador, Penzance etc etc, I can't place the middle flavour But they are prooving to be a great bean' enjoy- when you get then ๐Ÿ˜‰
  4. bit of a mixed roast, with a certain amount of colour variation in the beans, first go as a flat white It was very much chocolate, almonds, poss citrus as well, early days as yet, but quite enjoyable.

  11. I like to laugh at the world in general and realise that each of us is not as special or unique as we like to think. This may have been done before but I came across this post online about 14 different types of forum members, l certainly see myself as one of them. People are more complex than this but we can all recognise facets of our own behaviour, or if not we really have big problems. You may enjoy reading this but dont point fingers at anyone or you may prove your a sociopath ๐Ÿ˜… Original source is about football but if the cap fits Here 1. The Nazi Admin/Mod/Owner Internet

  17. I suppose the forums not a democracy, but people who use it value that it being impartial as possible. It was a big plus to see the politics and religion kicked into touch instead of being such a devisive subject offten used by trolls without any meaningful debate Censorship is also a double edged sword, and needs using with care, I disagree about alot if things with people but Its important that you discuss differences not just cut people off. 18. Not wanting to discourage constructive discussion threads but being sceptical by nature is this thread designed principally to do market research for ACS or some other company ? - if it is then fine, but it should be declared in the first post as such then we could all happily post and comment knowing that we were possibly helping ACS design a better machine for us as potential future consumers. Having kicked religion and politics into the long grass how about adding business or consultant tabs to members avatars - just an idea to improve the clarity of threads and opinions preventing s

    This forum

Interesting thread, what is obvious from the comments is that what one person sees as reasonable banter about race, politics or religion has sinister undertones for others and is turning them off from contributing to this forum, I would include myself in this group. Ive hopefully given as good as ive got in the past but quickly realised that some some posters get their jollys (and not Mazzer) from the negative attention and the arguement. Where does this leave us.... basically if you want the forum to grow get rid of the toxic threads on race, politics and religion, also Brav

  23. interesting solution ๐Ÿ‘, if you do get around to making the tool, just a quick heads up the 62 and 63 pavs have slightly different hole positions to the 64 - 74 with a brass sleeve
  24. Hi I will do some more, but be warned I tend to have a very long turn around, I've got some domestic commitment s that I'm working through at the moment, but will update this thread as soon as I'm back on the case. Cheers Jim Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
