  1. Hey Guys! Been far too long since i made it on to CFUK, however... If anyone on here would like a barista job in Lincoln (East Midlands, UK) then please PM me. There is a vacancy going at a busy cafe - full time hours with option of more / less to suit. Ideally (though not limited to) looking for someone interested in developing a career. Thanks Ash Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

  5. Hey Guys! I'm trying to find some information about coffee trade prices i.e. the market price, etc. Does anyone have any recommended sites at all? Thanks Ash
  6. So true - I'm happily travelling via train from Oxford to Lincoln this weekend, for coffee! Looking forward to the Angel blend Mark 3 Ash

    Milk

You'll hear a lot of people talking about Cravendale, aside from being a UKBC sponsor they are generally considered to be the better milk for baristas. This "idiots milk" is easy to steam and has a longer life span, having gone through an extra production process to many other milks. http://www.commongrind.co.uk
  8. We have got series one at the flat, on loan from max It did raise the same question for me actually.
  9. Have you seen Paul Basset's Living Coffee dvd's? He seems to have an interesting approach to all this. He doesn't appear to distribute at all. Just load the portfilter, tamp, refill and tamp again.
  10. Your right Glen, they do look funky I should dare imagine you could also get the company name/logo printed on to these somehow as well.
  11. I'll have to try the sound affects next time then. Lord knows my milk needs it!
