Well, time has come to consider an upgrade, as I'm potentially going to be using my mac for more than just streaming media, and need a bit more power.

I have the following:

-Mac Mini (late 2007) - http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_mini/specs/mac-mini-core-2-duo-1.83-specs.html
- 1.83ghz core 2 duo
- 3gb of Ram (was 1gb as standard)
- 320gb hard disk (was 80 as standard)
- Snow Leopard OS 10.6
- recent replacement power pack (old one died)
- DVI to HDMI and DVi to VGA adapters
- Original Box

This machine is currently running ITunes as a media server, and connects to a USB DAC, controlled via the apple remote app. It is a superb way to enjoy digital music. Incredibly simple, functionally excellent and never ever causes me any problems. It is as reliable now as it was when I first got it.

It runs into my TV via DVI (via HDMI adapter) perfectly, and can easily play a 720p movie from iTunes as well. I even use it occasionally to organise photos etc.

Price wise, these things in basic form fetch 150-180 on ebay. With the additional RAM and larger hard disk, i'd like 180 including postage.
