Mmmm Have a liking for single malt whisky, recently had a very nice oak casked 10 year old Macallan but probably like the Islay malts best of all.

Laphroig cask strength is an occasional treat, the only malt that I add a splash of water to, its just a wee bit too wahay on the peatiness otherwise, makes the bottle last longer too.

Laphroig is nice. Anyone into a good Vodka or Gin?

I'm not a raw spirits person but trained as a cocktail barman many years ago and enjoy mixing drinks, making cocktails and understanding taste dynamics.
I like Single Malt Whisky (and cannot stomach blends) and used to have an office that backed onto the SMWS in Farringdon, so made a few visits next door and 'almost' became a member.
