    Hi, yes me! Welcome.

For a while there were a lot of people from Norfolk / Suffolk on the forum but quite a few are inactive these days

I'm often in Kofra and G&G drinking a coffee and buying beans from Europe's top roasters.

Hi, from another near Norwich. Working out near the airport I am rarely purchasing coffee but occasionally venture in to the city to buy some beans.

    Hi guys,

where do you guys buy your beans from, I used to go to Wilkinsons but have been getting mine from the red roaster and am really enjoying the different types of coffee they do?

Kofra and G&G get beans from Europe's top roasters. Caffenation is pretty much always on then guests from the likes of The Barn, Drop, Coffee Collective, Bonanza, Four Barrell, Square Mile, Grind etc to name just a few. It's the best IMO and the only place I buy from or drink coffee in Norwich.

There's also Strangers and Smokey Barn roasting their own, and Little Red Roaster as you say who I believe are still using James Gourmet.

Wilkinsons is a commodity coffee shop, with huge barrels of low quality stale coffee. The others are speciality. Think of it as a McDonalds burger vs a real nice freshly cooked burger.

I was getting coffee pretty much exclusively from Smokey Barn but since I'm back at work and so less able to just drop by I'm mixing in with using some online roasters as well. Keep meaning to try some of the others locally but it's a time thing.

G&G = Gosling (Hayley from The Window) & Guzman (Jose of Kofra)!

It's next to the mash tun (was hog in armour) at the start of St Benedicts. Really nice place, well worth checking out.
